The Drive-In — Restaurant in Condon

Great service. This is a busy eatery for a semi-ghost town, especially around the lunch hour. This place is popular for the players and spectators of the local sporting events. People come from all over for the burgers and shakes.

They make a mean shake in many, many flavors. If you're dreaming of a milkshake flavor, they probably have it! The burgers are huge and have a nice flavor. I have yet to finish one because they are too big for my little belly! I love the spiral fries. And when you order fries here you get a MOUNTAIN of fries. I've had burgers here as well as the shrimp basket. All were good. This is also the only place in town to get a soft-serve ice cream cone. You can even order pizza!

The service is hometown friendly and if you're there more than once, they are likely to remember you. You can eat indoors, in a shaded outdoor area, or you can take your food to the lovely little city park across the street. You can walk in to order or pull up to the drive-up window. The burgers here are just OK. They remind me of the Big Az Cheeseburger you get from the refrigerated section of a convenience store. The only upside, is the use of fresh vegetables and decent buns. It's a shame, we can't even get a good burger locally. Don't get me wrong, the employees and the atmosphere are both good but why do we need to travel 2 hours away to get a good cheap bite to eat? It's literally the only "fast" food we have around here and I don't find myself wanting to go back, when I can make a subpar burger at home. Beware of the waitress working the front of house. Her all around attitude towards guests is probably the poorest I have ever seen. She acts as though your coming in to eat is a total inconvenience for her. I understand she may of been having a bad day but you know what? We all do and I have been on that end of the situation personally and bad day or not when dealing with customers in this industry you leave your bad day at the door when you punch the clock.
