On a special anniversary trip to Conneaut

we discovered possibly the most special Italian restaurant of all times

we were greeted with the original owners vintage home movies… playing on a loop on a couple flat screens… it was delightful! weddings, homes, playing in the backyard…

we felt so welcome & at home!

I’ve never had better Spaghetti Sauce & I’ve never had a more delicious spumoni.

the whole experience was so delicious & romantic I felt like I floated back to our place…

we will certainly return when we are lucky enough to find ourselves in your sweet town on lovely lake...

"Pizzi's" what more can I say? Simply the best stromboli's this side of Italy. Also you must try the lasagna. I grew up 2nd generation Italian on both sides, my late Mom's lasagna is the one by which all others are judged and Pizzi's comes closer than any other I've tried. My wife is a vegetarian and she swears by the "Grandma's" Pizza. I could go on and on about this place, the atmosphere is cozy and quiet, and clean. Very friendly staff with the owner onsite. Give them a try. You won't regret it! As most of you know, Pizzi's had closed in 2018, the good news is that the granddaughter of the original owner bought the place and reopened it as of March 2024, after having extensively renovated the place. I can personally attest that it has only gotten better than it was before. Definitely a must try if you love...

This place is AMAZING! We were in the area during our family's annual vacation to Erie and found this place to be an absolute gem. The owner, Dawn, and her husband, could not have been better hosts. They are spectacular! We had the stuffed pizza balls (sorry I forgot the name!) and the garlic chips as appetizers - both were outstanding. We then had the Grandma's pizza. This place has perhaps the absolute best pizza dough recipe. The crust is phenomenal and they use high quality cheeses and have a very tasty pizza sauce. One of the best pizzas that I've ever had and I live in Chicago! Pizzi's is about 45 minutes from where we stay each year on Erie on our annual vacation but we will most definitely be making the drive to Conneaut each year now to eat there! So good and the absolute best hosts! See ya next...
