The lo mein is another standout dish, with just the right amount of seasoning and a generous portion size that is sure to satisfy your cravings. Wow wow wow, being from NY and used to eating a certain type of Chinese food, this was my last attempt at finding a Chinese restaurant like i am used to. I am from Yonkers NY, and have ordered from numerous Chinese restaurants in the area (i wont mention names) but they have all been garbage. I have seen Bamboo Wok before but advertising NY style food kinda turned me off. After being disappointed thus far with everyone else. i decided to try them as my last ditch effort to being able to enjoy Chinese food in South Florida. Well, I am so happy i did! My wife ordered egg foo young, which was amazing because of the gravy, that is the key. I also ordered General Tao chicken, and it was by far the best I've had. My son had Chicken fried rice and said it wasn't as good as his moms lol, but enjoyed it none the less. Said he will order chicken lo mein. As a big fan of Chinese food, especially when it comes to craving Orange chicken, I love going to different places like these. First time I tried this. It’s not terrible or super great. It’s solid. I got an Orange chicken with fried rice and a spring roll. The Orange chicken didn’t really taste like Orange to me and was really spicy. Wasn’t too bad though. The fried rice was ok too. The spring roll had absolutely no flavor. Wouldn’t recommend those. It was nice that they let you get your cookies, your sauces, silverware and drinks on the way out. I do appreciate that, to be fair. They had a sign on their window outside that they claimed to be the Best Chinese place in West Boca. Uhh no.
