Yokohama Sushi — Restaurant in Florida

This has to be my girlfriends favorite place to eat in all of boca. She is a huge fan of sushi and this place offers great quality rolls at a equally great price. We probably come here once or twice every two weeks. And we almost always sit at the same table as-well which I think is pretty cool. Anyways... The guy who owns the establishment is always here and talking with his staff to make sure everything runs smooth. The chiefs are all men and the wait staff is all lady’s.

Idk why this is but upon googling it I found out two answers. One reason I read was because they have higher body temperatures than men and secondly because of the hormones within lady’s their taste buds can change... idk away...

I have only had crunch salmon rolls and my girlfriend has had the miso soup, the salad and JB rolls. She really enjoyed the salad and said the miso soup was pretty good. It wasn’t her favorite thing. The sushi is really good and reasonably priced. We had 3 crunch salmon rolls and 2 JB rolls with 2 drinks once for like $32. Good stuff....

I have been ordering from this restaurant for close to a year. The food here has always been top notch and the service is excellent. A couple of nights ago I ordered my usual order, a sushi deluxe platter with Miso soup and crunchy salmon roll. For the first time ever, they actually got the order wrong and gave me sashimi instead of sushi. It was already late in the evening so I did not feel like going back and ate the sashimi. The next day I went back with the receipt. My intention was not to get a replacement order. After all it was the next day and I had already consumed the food. I just wanted to show them what happened in case it was a glitch in their system that they were unaware of and that needed to be fixed. The manager insisted on giving me two sushi deluxe platters to take home. This is what I call "good business". This has been one of my fav Sushi places since we moved here 11 years ago. It’s small, quaint and very consistent food wise. I know they’ve had a few owners, but their food never goes down hill, it’s always fresh, not overly expensive and filling. We always get sushi rolls, the gyoza is good and I always get a green salad because their Ginger Dressing is amazing! They have the best prices sushi roll wise, they even have rolls under $10! My favs are the Mexican Roll, Volcano Roll & the Yokahama Roll. If you like fried rice, they make great Chicken & Veggie fried rices as well as Beef and Steak. (Meats rices are a little more pricy) I just introduced my friends here last week for take out lunch and they were very happy with the food as well.
