My family and I visited Margarita Grill tonight and we were greeted by Ivy, she advised that there was a waiting list and when we asked how long the wait would be, she stated that she couldn't give us an exact timeframe. She ever so kindly explained that she didn’t want to tell us 10 minutes and it take 30, or tell us 30 and it only be a 5 minute wait. She told us we’d get a text message when our table was ready.
We asked what all the flags being handed out or for, and Ivy told us and I quote that “Ever since 9/11, The owner has been doing the sweetest tribute honoring all person’s who have served in the military as well as first responders.”
So, before heading outside to wait until we receive the text, we chose to stay inside to watch the tribute.
Initially the owner humorously explained where the exits were for anyone who was against his tribute, followed by a short bit of the song (Hit the road Jack).
What we experienced following that was the most HEARTFELT and SINCERE tribute I’ve ever seen. It was so touching, we had tears in our eyes and even noticed that Ivy’s pretty blue eyes had tears in them too. We all look forward to being able to partake in it on our next visit.
We were going to go to the store while we waited for the text message saying that our table was ready. We had just stepped into the store when the text message came in so we quickly returned to the restaurant.
Ivy saw us walking in and she had our menus in hand and swiftly took us to our seats. My wife asked if they gluten free menu Although we were advised that they didn’t, but luckily my wife explained that it was OK. They have items on the menu that naturally don’t have Gluten. When we asked her what the specials were and she was very knowledgeable and told us about the Crawfish Bisque, the Scallops on a Half Shell and the Mediterranean Sea Bass. We asked if she had any suggestions and she said that the Saganaki was a favorite of many diners and that we go a neat show with it. She advised that our server Ricky would be with us momentarily.
Our server Ricky was excellent, she came to our table very quickly and she always had a smile on her face which was a very nice difference from other restaurants where the servers always look angry. Ricky brought our drinks out quickly and continuously checked on us throughout our visit.
The gentleman brought out the Saganaki and it was wonderful to watch him light it on fire prior to putting it on the table and was ever better to eat!!
I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone & anyone who wants to experience greatness from the moment they walk in the door, as Ivy sets the tone for the visit which is a beautiful tone, the servers like Ricky are happy and the food is...

Her name remains unforgettable as she said her name was Ivy, like Poison Ivy.
Myself and some good friends visited your restaurant last weekend and were greeted by a very nice host as we walked in the door, after collecting our menus and silverware, She offered us the choice of seating being either indoor or outdoor and advised that the weather was beautiful with a slight chill and explained that you had heaters outside, And that she could see us right next to one. Furthermore, she said thatif we felt it was too chilly, that she would happily seat us inside. Ivy was absolutely right as it was very comfortable Out on the patio.
We started to tell her what drinks we wanted, and she ever politely advised that our server would be right with us. We did explain that we only had an hour, and would have to be leaving the restaurant by 1:30. She said she would be right back of which she was and she stated that she checked with the kitchen and that everything was running smooth like melted butter. We then asked Ivy if she had any favorite items on the menu or could recommend anything, and she recommended the Sagana, the tacos, chicken, quesadilla, and told us that she’s heard nothing but good things about the stuffed flounder and the octopus. We did ask her what kind of cheese the Sagana was of which she advised she did not have that answer that she would get it for us, And came back and let us know that she did not have the exact name although she was told it was an imported cheese from Greece.
A short while later, while she was sitting another party, and we inquired about our food as time was creeping up on us and asked if she could check on For us. She Said she would be more than happy to, although before she had a chance to even make it in the door, the food came out in just in time, just as she said it would.
While I have to admit that watching the young man light the Saganaki, I have to say that it was Ivy herself that made our experience beyond wonderful!!
Your restaurant has a definite people...
Read moreFunny story, we were recommended to go to another resteraunt. At the other resteraunt, the table eating next to us said, they wished they had gone to Marguerita Grill. "Where they could get some decent food". We hadn't ordered yet, so we asked, where is that? They gave us directions and said we were just 12 minutes away. So, obviously our first time here. We will be back. The fried pickles were very tart. Great flavor. The smoke fish dip, was some of the best we have had. And they gave us a huge portion. First time I have every taken home a left over appetizer. We had the stuffed. Great flavor, perfectly cooked. I would have liked the ratio of fish to stuffing be a little more fish. But the flavor was so good, I overcame the ratio. I'm glad I had the black beans and rice for my sides. The hollandaise sause was very rich. The Mojo pork was cooked perfectly. Very tender. It was missing the traditional citrus flavor and a bit salty. But like the fish, the flavor was so good, it did not matter. The philly chease steak was not traditional either. It had a better ratio of meat to cheese. We feel it is better than a traditiinal philly. The rib and fried shrimp combo was very good, if you like ribs that fall off the bone. We do. The shrimp was a little over done. But the fatter was flacky and seasoned perfectly. The one cock tail we had was a Tropical Rum Runner. It was so good. Not too sweat. Not to strong. Tasted the rum. The service was a little slow. But I think you can gigure out by my review, that I am very particular. We sat by the water, so the atmosphere could not have been better. We had 4 meals, 2 appetizers, and 1 cocktail, and a military discount came to $129.11. We will be back. We will bring friends....
