We came here because my spouse wanted to eat here. I personally don't like buffets. They had a line of people waiting for seating. We were told it would be about 15 minutes so we decided to go ahead and stay. There is very limited seating for those who are waiting, FYI. But the good thing is that the hostess has a mic and speaker that they use to call your name. You can hear it from the outside too due in part to sound system they have. So if you were parked close to the door you can go sit in your car and wait I suppose 乁( •_• )ㄏ Anyway, we are called. Get seated. The waitress is very nice. I ordered the cheeseburger. Again, not a buffet person. (Plus I saw a lot of people almost face first in some things) my youngest daughter and spouse go for the buffet. My oldest orders from the menu also. They soon regret the buffet because they have limited options to choose from. They are also done eating before our food arrives. So it's kinda awkward when they sit and watch us eat when it does get to the table. We also ordered the peanut butter pie and a custard pie. Those were pretty good. They place was quite crowded. You can tell it was a high turnover rate type of place. Get in, get out. But first pay expensive price for a small buffet (price not on menu) *Also, kinda hypocritical to put in the bible verse at the bottom about giving bread and then they stress the issue about not sharing food.*

My husband and I went for a “ride today looking for Amish Food and Mrs. Yoder’s Kitchen was recommended by an article I read online. We were greeted and seated within seconds of entering by a very nice young man. We were seated near the salad and buffet tables to accommodate the usage of my husband’s walker. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful in helping us choose our meals. After looking over the menu we both decided on the buffet and salad bar. The hot bar was freshly filled with plenty of Comfort Foods: Yoder’s famous chicken, roast beef, real mashed potatoes, noodles, stuffing, corn, zucchini, meatloaf, fish sticks. The food was really tasty and fresh. The only food that I would comment on was the meatloaf. It was not warm all the way through. Though the salad bar was small, it had also been freshly filled and they had your lettuce mix along with eggs, bacon, peppers, onions, assorted homemade salads such as potato….If you decide to go, I HIGHLY recommend the Blueberry dressing. If they sold it in bottles, I would have bought a few. Today at the end of the salad bar was a surprise. They made chocolate cake and an orange jello with pineapple in it. YUM YUM!! Next time you’re out for a ride, think about Mrs. Yoder’s Kitchen. They are open from from 11:00-7:00 everyday but Sunday and an occasional Holiday.

One of my all-time favorite places to eat! I LOVE coming here for their Breakfast or Dinner Buffet. Always, Awesome food! Service with a smile. Country, home cooked food at its finest. Everything is made from scratch, in house. The best Country fried chicken I have ever eaten. I also LOVE the Pot Roast and those Mashed Potatoes and gravy. The salad bar is huge and always fresh. Everything they make is fresh. Then there is the decadent deserts. Man oh man. My favorites are the Chocolate cake with caramel cream icing, Strawberry pie, and the Peach pie; when they are in season. The breakfast buffet is one of the nicest I have had. Nothing like a hearty country breakfast. Man I am getting hungry just writing this review. This is one of my MUST GO TOO restaurants. I try to make it down to Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen at least two to three times a month. I grew up on a farm and it reminds me of my mom's cooking. So my visit's here are like going home. The locals love dining here, as well. You may also order off the menu, if buffets are not your interest. So make Mrs. Yoder's Kitchen your GO TOO PLACE.

There might come a time in your life when you find yourself traveling the Ohio countryside with your parents when your bellies collectively decide it's time to eat. Now, you might be deep inside Amish Country between a bag of tempting "day-old cookies" and a horse and buggy. Unless you want to head back to the "big city" of Canton, your options are not plentiful, but they are delicious. As they say, "when in Rome," you will find yourself dining amongst the people. The Romans, in this case, are mostly retirees and Amish folks. Nice people, but the demographic might dictate the buffet menu at the well-established restaurants in the area, which mostly include easy to chew foods. Although I enjoyed my 3-4 plates of primarily soft proteins and veggies, there's something fun and delightful about the Amish restaurants. Don't be scared, just go in. It'll be a good time. The berry cream pie is da bomb!

My husband introduced to me to this absolutely delicious buffet today while out on our weekend bike ride. Home cooked foods served fresh off the buffet. Fried chicken like moms use to make. Fresh, real mash potatoes, with perfect brown gravy. Corn, green beans, meatloaf, chowder, Italian beef melts in your mouth. From pasture to plate served here. Still more! Salad bar with a walk through the garden, fresh made broccoli salad, cole slaw. Peanut Butter Pie so good, brought some home. 5 stars no doubt. If you're not a buffet person, off the menu from fresh fish to steak dinners. Price absolutely right for this delicious home cooked food, not over priced at all. My husband is diabetic, they even have incredible dishes and desserts for healthly alternatives. Staff friendly, restaurant clean with plenty of room around each table, no one sitting backs touching. Fantastic dinning.
