9am on a Thursday:
30 min for 2 drinks and 2 food items. It's disorganized and slow. One of the baristas picked trash off the floor and went directly to placing lids on drinks. Sorry Sarah.
Doing an update. Food was.. ok. They got the order wrong for the acai bowl, but it was still good. The parfait was a bit warm even leaving the store. Not ideal, but it was good, the honey especially.
Why it's a one star. Service. 1. Ordering ahead was promised in 18min, and it took 31min until I walked out the door. There's a lot of competition and that's a long time for 2 drinks and 2 food items. 2. Apparently DoorDash doesn't get taken care of until after everyone else? It was an order for me, via google, via DoorDash. The barista had an attitude about it, and withheld a fresh orange juice until I forced her to look at the ticket. She asked me to leave without it at first as 'It Wasn't On The Ticket.' 3. What is this places goal? There's not enough seating to stay at for a while, they aren't well set up to do to-go, there's no drive through or curbside, and it takes a long time for basic orders. I'm not coming back, it's not worth the hassle. Within 2 miles I can think of 3 places that do it better. 4. The cost. I hope this place is a living wage location, but it doesn't seem to be as everyone there seemed disinterested in being there. I get that, a bit, but I'm also here for coffee and breakfast. $41.30 for these items is higher than the rest of the area, and it's slower, and I have health concerns with how they're set up. 5. The bathroom... eh, decently clean? It seems like some care was taken with building it and then none on day to day use. It's... it's a bathroom made by someone who doesn't use it. That really takes away from the come and stay aspect of the location.
I won't come back. It was fine, but maybe $25 and 10min fine. Not $40 and 30min fine. I have places that are worth spending a few hours and $100 at, and this is far from that. I also have places that I can order ahead and be in and out in 10min. Same if not better food, and usually about $30 for the same items. So I understand some people have had better experiences, this wasn't...
Read moreThis is a small café, with a wide variety of coffee options, small tables along the wall inside, some hot food options (which I didn't try this visit), plus some pastries and even keto pastries by a local-to-the-area baker, Deliciously Keto. I tried the cinnamon roll and the everything bagel by Deliciously Keto, and thought it was not entirely satisfying, in my personal opinion. They were small portions, but also somewhat tough and crumbly. Still, it was very nice for this business to partner with a local baker who specializes in keto for those who practice the diet.
I also ordered a cappucino and a standard cinnamon chip scone. The scone was definitely not keto and, I admit, was a lot tastier by comparison.
The service made me knock a star off my rating, as the barista didn't seem keen on engaging with me, more that she wanted the order put in quickly. It was unfortunate that she didn't know where their own pastries came from. When asked if they were local, she replied, "I don't know, somewhere in Leesburg?". It seems a little careless and apathetic for a small business. I was actually turned off from ordering a croissant because of the lack of knowledge of who made it. A lack of care in one's menu often shows what kind of quality food you're ordering. Ah, well. I also noted that none of the pastries were fresh, rather they were shipped in "yesterday".
Overall, the place was cute, aesthetically speaking. There were people sitting around being busy, one table was having a business meeting of some sort, so it was pretty hopping at a Monday afternoon. The service left me a bit disappointed in SR's staff education about their own business, but that's unfortunately common. If you go in for a quick coffee and snack and don't care much for passionate business owners, you'll probably have no qualms. 3/5 max...
Read moreSR Coffee Co. was a 7am delight, one of the few shops in the area with hours for early-risers. Coffee real good. Staff was helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. Clean, disability accessible bathroom with a changing table, open to all customers.

The kind man at the counter explained the beans to me, and I asked for a regular drip coffee ($3.5) to pair with my blueberry muffin ($4.00). I kinda fumbled my words asking for it to be iced and...ended up with a medium cold brew ($4.50). Ah darn! My cold brew sure hit the spot on today's warm rainy summer day.
All the baristas were patient and helpful, even and especially when I made a perhaps somewhat annoying request to rub out a sticky spot on the table that I was bothered by. Other than that funny spot where something got stuck to the resin, I found the place to be a very clean and spacious environment, giving good vibes for anyone who wanted to pop a squat for a morning's work.
The shop also provides a table with local business magazines and business cards beneath the canopy of a lovely little plant.
Digged the music, especially because everyone on the shift was asked to add to it. Seems like a good place to work, as well as a good place to get some grub.
