Unique BBQ restaurant in Cherry Log, Georgia. Shop local while staying in town. Restaurant is in a long building off of the side of the road. It's legit! We are BBQ snobs, too. Pulled pork and ribs were delicious, as was the macaroni and cheese dish. I got sweet potato fries, and my husband ordered fried okra. All sides were delicious. For dessert they offer banana pudding ,blackberry cobbler and peach cobbler, peanut butter pie and something else. We got the cobbler with a scoop of ice cream. We will be back when in town.

Fantastic BBQ and Southern Charm! The Pink Pig is a must-visit for any BBQ lover! The brisket, pulled pork, and ribs were absolutely delicious—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The sides were just as impressive! The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, the fried okra was crispy and flavorful, and the green beans had that perfect homestyle touch. The staff was so friendly and welcoming, adding to the charm of this cute little spot. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a real treat.

It’s been 11 years since my last visit from Dade City, Florida and another chance to wear my t-shirt souvenir. Once again, the Q did not disappoint, and that’s saying something for this Kansas City girl. Pink Pig is worth the drive when you’re anywhere up in this area.

If I had the choice between driving 50 minutes to Fox Brothers BBQ in Atlanta or driving all the way to cherry Log GA (59 minutes) to have BBQ the answer is simple. There is no contest, Pink Pig is SO MUCH BETTER. I found the best ribs ever at this small country restaurant. I would put their ribs and brisket up against any of the BBQ places in Brooklyn/Manhattan/Atlanta.

The ribs were so flavorful, sauce not really needed. They offered a spicy/hot/sweet sauce/vinegar which I tried each, but the meat stands well enough on its own!

Brisket was moist and easily cut. I received a very generous plate of sliced brisket alone as I was not interested in the sides. Amazing flavor. The sides are good, don’t get me wrong, the beans were amazing and the slaw perfect. Not too dry nor too wet. Please do not let the exterior look of this place out you off. The food was great. Service was good too and very friendly!!! Do NOT miss the delicious desserts. Initially I didn’t want them but others in our 9 person group wanted some. Two were cobblers, and either one was delicious. The hot cobbler and cold ice cream perfect ending. Don’t forget the chocolate cake, so moist and decadent. Oh and the banana pudding, the size of the offering was amazing, and...

We decided to stop by while visiting from out of town, and it was an interesting experience. The staff was friendly, which was a nice touch. However, there were several aspects of the meal that could use improvement.

I ordered the combo plate with brisket, pork, and two ribs. I was a bit surprised to find that the brisket was served shredded, as this wasn’t mentioned on the menu. Additionally, the meat arrived quite cold and lacked flavor, which was disappointing.

For my sides, I chose mac and cheese and Brunswick stew. Unfortunately, both fell short of expectations. The mac and cheese was cold and didn't have much cheesy flavor or seasoning, while the stew was too hot to enjoy comfortably, and the taste was somewhat bland. The bread also seemed stale.

Another member of our group ordered fried chicken with fries, but they found the chicken to be rubbery and the fries unpalatable.

On a positive note, the water was good, but considering there was a charge for it, we expected it to be. Overall, it seems there are areas that could be improved to enhance the dining experience for...

This was our first visit to The Pink Pig. It came highly recommended by the Cherry Log Mountain cabin owner of the cabin we were vacationing at. This is a very unique place with excellent service and good food. Portions are large and the prices are fair. The pork plate, brisket plate and the 4 chicken tender plate was more than enough food for 3 people. The Alice Potatoes was a nice change to try. It's not am uncommon dish, but it was good side dish. The slaw is the only dish that I did not care for, but it was good if you preferred it made the way they make it. Desserts looked delicious, but we were full and would be headed home the next day. I was told all the food is made in the restaurant with their own recipes. I feel that is true. We will definitely visit again...
