Encounter Café — Restaurant in Converse

First time visiting Encounter Cafe in Converse Indiana! Made a special one hour trip and went past multiple Starbucks just to try this little gem of a coffee shop. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Super friendly staff and the environment is absolutely perfect! I had the savory hand pie that had sausage egg and cheese. It was obviously homemade and absolutely delicious. My drink was a vanilla iced coffee with oat milk and it was hands down better than I get from any chain store.

The Encounter Cafe is a total gem of a place. It is an easy on the soul, warm, welcoming spot where you feel like you could sit and enjoy all day. You won’t want to leave. Bring a good book or just enjoy the atmosphere with a nice drink and a treat, and get the recharge you need. The food and drinks are fresh, made there, and VERY reasonably priced.
