Edited to reply to your response: And your response is exactly why Jada behaves the way she does. This is why she said, go ahead, call her. Employees are only as good as their management team, or owner in this case. Which is even worse. She knew you would side with her. I knew that was a weird response for an employee to have. It was very off. And based on you calling me a "Karen" you are off as well. Way off. This is why you won't make it much longer. Service like this. For your mentality to be "the help" really speaks volumes about you. Your comments further show how this establishment runs and treats its customers. If you were treated like I was AND then on my way out for her to comment she hopes I dont return, I about had it at that point so yes, my reaction was unpleasant. You want to treat customer's poorly but dont appreciate their responses in the end. Its like you get what you dish out. And trust me, I would never return even after talking to you on the phone. You had the most fake apology ever and then to lie to me when I asked you if you were the owner also really speaks volumes about your character and how you dont actually value your customers. And my experiences at other establishments are true. I don't often share feedback but when I do it is because it was absolutely outrageous. Quit trying to find excuses for your behavior because that's all this is. Excuses. When your doors close, you will know why. Bad drinks but even worse service. I will be sure to copy and paste your response to the community.
I visited the establishment and Jada was working the counter. Everytime I asked her what something was she had an attitude about it. I don't frequent this store and know nothing about the drinks. She asked if I wanted milk foam and I said no. When we go the drink it tasted like watered down blueberry. I asked her why and she said it's because we didn't want items in it. I said so the milk foam makes all the difference and she said no. So I don't understand then if you only asked me about the milk foam and I said no milk foam. So what else did you leave off that it would taste like water. She continued to have a sour attitude, rolling her eyes and getting sassy. I asked it there was a manager on duty and she said I am the manager. I then asked for the store manager and she said Yesenia, and please call her and let her know. This Jada girl is so sassy and rude. My kids often frequent this store but I will be sure they don't anymore. Since she didn't want to fix the drink I just told her I'd like a refund and she said we don't give refunds. I don't understand what Jada's issues are but if she is going to be working with customers she needs to learn to have a way better attitude and care about the experience she is giving customers. I will not be returning if Jada is in the store. On my way out she purposely with a grin, said please don't return, trying to get me worked up, which worked. This girl...
Read moreWe will never return to this place. It was several months ago when my daughter and I went for the first time. Owner was there in a bad mood talking to his employees. After we ordered, I complimented him on his place. He barely looked at me and gave no response, besides confirming this was his business. I don’t even recall how good their boba tea was because I was so turned off my the hospitality and atmosphere. In addition, we were the only ones there at the time.
This may sound cliche, but I normally do not leave bad reviews, hence that’s why I never bothered to waste my time writing this review, did not want to recall the experience. Having a business is very hard work; however, your customers make your business. Treating them well is a necessity, despite what kind of day you are having. To owner, I hope you have changed your approach for the sake of your business. There is so much competition in the Boba tea world, that you must make changes.
Now, we have gone to Coffee Tea in Universal City as the staff are very welcoming and friendly! Another one is the ice cream place at The Trailer Park in La Vernia, they make excellent Boba...
Read moreGot a small green bamboo (matcha), regular sugar, regular ice, with brown sugar boba. It was the perfect sweetness with an enjoyable subtle matcha taste. It is mixed fresh, resulting in most of the ice melting, so if you want it colder, request more ice. I preferred regular ice level because it didn't water it down. Boba was soft and delicious. I didn't specify the type of milk in my drink and it automatically came with lactaid which was a thoughtful move for those that are lactose intolerant Both employees on Monday afternoon were welcoming and friendly plenty of seating inside (most I've seen in a boba shop), a lot of outside parking everything was very clean and tidy nice casual ambiance for a fun hang out spot self ordering monitor available close to the entrance you can customize a brand new drink creation and share it with the shop+its patrons loyalty program available with just a phone number there are coffee drinks available on the self ordering monitor wifi available
Looking forward to trying more drinks in...
