This is not meant to be hateful at all, but the smell of urine and ammonia was the worst I’ve ever experienced at an animal cafe/animal facility. Granted I’ve only been at two others due to traveling, but I did think this was overwhelming. As soon as we walked in, I wanted to walk out because of the smell but everyone wanted to give it a shot. I was really scared to even try the coffee. Thankfully, the coffee was pretty good, but I just kept worrying about it because of the smell. It was just so strong the entire time. The service wasn’t bad either, you can tell they’re nice people. They don’t wear uniforms necessarily (or none I noticed) and it’s street clothes. I actually couldn’t tell if some of the people were just regulars or workers 😂 the area was pretty interactive too with the cats, lots of different places to sit and different ways to play with them. Anyways, the only thing lacking for this place is just the strong smells. It’s extremely overwhelming. I’m not sure what the other cafes do that I’ve been to have done to help with that, but if they can find a way to eliminate/decrease that odor that’ll help a ton. I am more sensitive to smells, so I just felt dizzy the entire time and that was the first time I’ve experienced it at an animal cafe. I know the others with me also thought the smell was strong. Otherwise, you can really tell they’re nice people that care for the animals.

I am editing this due to being asked to by Google. I visited this place yesterday with my son. I wanted to treat him to something fun because he did so well at Band Camp. The man at the register was very nice and friendly. We paid our $20.00 for an hour to pet and love on the cats. We thoroughly enjoyed petting the cats and seeing all their personalities. They were all lying around and just relaxing. The overwhelming smell of cat pee/ammonia was terrible! If you go, put some Vicks under your nose. My son was excited and started to talk to an elderly woman about our cat. We were quickly met with a snide comment and she scolded us on how “cruel and inhumane” it was “for future reference” to not declaw cats. This lady whoever she was, (Customer/employee etc. there’s no telling who works there and who doesn’t. Everyone is in street clothes) was there when we arrived. She was there for our entire session and was even there when we left. She knew every cats name and how long they had been there. With her knowledge of how things were there, we both figured she worked there. The visit was extremely awkward and uncomfortable after that. We left with 20 minutes on our timer. I’m going to add a picture of my son’s favorite cat from there. It reminded him of his cat, “Skunky.” And we thoroughly enjoyed meatloaf.

I LOVE that the cats are adoptable. There are plenty of toys to play with the cats and lots of places are available for the furry friends to get away if they want. Seating is now plentiful and arranged in ways to allow for conversation while visiting with cats. I only wish the number of guests visiting with the cats at one time could be reduced. Sometimes, they seem overwhelmed by too many people. I especially wish there were a minimum age (or maturity) for children. Seeing free-ranging small children run after cats so the cats are running and hiding, is disturbing to me and terrifying for the cats. When the adult chaperones of said children just grab the cats from their hiding spots so they can be chased again, is even more disturbing. It causes stress for all the cats in the room, who then have negative conspecific reactions

The idea of this place is absolutely WONDERFUL. I love that there is somewhere people can go to be around animals and the sweet furry things can be adopted. Plus, delicious coffee? Has all the facets for this awesome premise but it fell a little short for me. I won't harp on the smell because c'mon it's a room full of kitties- there's only so much one can do to help that. My only complaint was the other visitors. Maybe I am just over-protective of animals, but all of the visitors there were a little too aggressive with the cats.. like it was weird. I would expect this behavior from unsupervised children but these were grown adults- picking the cats up [very clearly] against their will, chasing them down, seeking them out while they're hiding and wanting to be alone(poking them out of their hiding spots etc.), and otherwise just pestering them to where the cats are so stressed they don't want to be touched. The adults had obviously been there several times because they had memorized all the cats names and it was really weird to me lol like are you okay? Like do you live here or something? Sheesh... Also the adults were allowing their children to badger the cats too, and one kid got scratched and I wasn't even surprised because that cat was like "bro I gave you like 10 warnings..." I wanted to love this place so freakin bad because man I love some kitties but it was just too much for me to see the cats stressed out like that by adults who should...

I brought my daughter here for a nice little daddy, daughter date. We didn't order any beverages so I can't speak to that. The mission of this place is wonderful, it's an excellent way to interact with felines before adopting them. Unfortunately, the sit in area is a mess. As other posts have said they need a better litter system. There were claw and climb towers everywhere for the cats to relax in but a few were run down and had cat feces stained into them. Even with the two sightly oxidizers in place between you and the boxes, the cat room smelt bad. One of the older cats pawed at my daughter claws out while she was trying to interact with him (this wasn't considered in the review just thought I'd mention it since there was no warnings anywhere that some cats may not be sociable. I understand they are animals and want their own space as much as you or I.) The facility had some water damage from the recent storms, I am also taking that into consideration and not holding it against the place. I've been to a dozen or so other animal cafe's and this one just wasn't as clean as the rest....with that being said the adoption aspect I haven't seen anywhere else and would still highly recommend the cafe if you're interested in adopting a cat. The entry is extremely affordable. I'd highly recommend ownership considers raising entry prices to increase staff and...
