I have not been to a Wendy's in almost 8 years - because of the way this exact location was being managed. The same company owns most of the Wendy's in Central Arkansas. Fast forward to the weekend, and I was in drive through line for 45 minutes, while the next door fast food joint was churning out customers, in under 3 minutes per car. In hindsight, I should've just strolled over, but I wanted to give this place another chance. I imagined the delay was due to shortage of staff. When I finally pulled up to order my food, I was asked to wait... I waited 5 minutes at the intercom. To my surprise, there were 6 people working, in a disorganized chaos. The guy taking the order was also the guy that was packing the drive through order, and he could not multi-task. The drive through order taker and money handler should not be the one touching the food at all, or breathing over the fries, or the nuggets, or any unopened food product. To make things worse, they were not wearing any gloves, mask, or sanitizing between vehicles. Very inefficient and unsanitary operation, and will not be back for another 8 years. Now, if I had to rain Wendy's corporation food quality - it has also gone down hill, and prices have gone up significantly. Better food can be had of a gas station floor. Local chain employees don't make things any better as they slap the order together without any care for presentation, or item selection. Take some pride in putting the food...
Read moreI was at Dave ward in Monday at 3:30. The drive thru was 10 cars long so I switched my mobile order to counter and went inside. It was no better. Prob worse for me seeing how it was being run. The kitchen staff was all over the place. One could t figure out how or where to wash her hands. The young guy at the counter paid me no attention at first and then still wasn’t paying attention as he had to ask me 3 times why I was there and couldn’t seemed lost about how to gather the food and could not figure out how to open the bag. It took 3 bags before the first item went in. He then made a frosty and rather than just fix it to the soda I ordered spent the time telling me how he read the wrong order in the screen. The manager in the meantime with her staff all flustered proudly helped her husband with his free coffee drink and told the two of us waiting in line it was her husband and that “he just wanted a coffee today” rather than help the paying customers that were already in line before he came in the store. I was inside 20 mins to get the biggie bag I had mobile ordered in advance. I would have been better in the drive through since all the cars had cleared out when I got outside. I would have cancelled the order, but I’ve had issues getting the credit back on my card in the past or I would have not waited. In the end the food wasn’t even good.
