Fisher's Kitchen LLC — Restaurant in Conyers

It's been a very long time I gave a Jamaican restaurant a 5 star star review right across the board, or have I ever? Anyway, I went to this place after a google search of JA restaurants near my location and after looking at their overall reviews (didn't read them). I walked in, CLEAN, 2 people in line, spacious, must admit, I was a bit skeptical, didn't know what I wanted to eat, but while waiting saw someone share some stew peas and it looked good. I don't order stew peas out, but I used my best judgment and decided everything about it looked good. Don't know until now what else is on the menu because I never asked. Let me tell you, this was my first time here and they delivered. This is the closet thing to mamas dinner I've gotten in a very very long time. Very tasty and the serving lasted for 21/2 sittings. 5 stars right across the board, I hope they remain consistent because consistency is everything in the restaurant industry. Maybe about 15 people passed through for the short time I was there so they definitely are popular in this area, and I ran into 2 people I knew while there. I will definitely be back here. ...

The very first visit I purchased 4 meals, I mentioned every detail to the server and received a printed receipt of my order that was correct. I received my food and I didn't check it before leaving the store, big mistake. I got home and realized one of my plates was missing vegetables and jerk chicken. The container only had rice and peas. I called and reported the issue, then went back to get my plate remade. Again, I mentioned my order correctly but midway of finishing plating my food the server put the wrong rice in the container. Another server mentioned I should just eat the rice in the first container I received with no meat which was already cold. These issues have all been made because of the distraction of the servers talking nonsense. As a good service worker myself for over 10 years, I can say this team of workers needs improvement on their customer service skills. Good food will not keep a crowd, but good service along...

I kept reminding myself to write this review because of how impacted I was by the patties. A few weeks ago I bought 3 patties from this establishment. I can’t remember the price but I got 2 beef patties and a spinach patty. I cut the spinach patty in half and gave it to my son. There must have used a combined 5 spinach leaves in the patty because it was almost empty! The patty was so thin! And the beef was worse! I was in shock!

I know the cost of things have increased and we are all feeling the burn. I’m also a small business owner and am feeling the effects of increase in needed materials but we have to do better. If I would have bitten into the patty in the restaurant I would have asked for a refund but I didn’t realize the injustice until I got home.
