First visit. We requested a booth as the spouse is disabled. We were accommodated to this request. The chips were brought to the table by a lady and a bowl of salsa. The chips in the basket barely covered the bottom of the basket. You could the bottom of the paper in the basket. (This was not a very good presentation - made you wonder where it came from.) Maybe one eighth full. The gentleman who took the order brought us more chips upon request, and the basket overflowed! Very nice. The salsa was great. Fresh flavorful. We ordered a side order of guacamole. It was good.( My husband does not like hot and spicy. That's my taste.) We both ordered the sizzling steak fajitas. They were really good. A great balance of steak with the onions, peppers, and seasoning. Would order that again. The gentleman server was excellent! Now, I must say in fairness, giving four stars for atmosphere, the booth seats were poor. Very cracked and split. Definitely need to repolster the seats. More than one booth needed this attention. In addition to this, the ladies' restroom toilet is in need of repair. Water was leaking around the baseboard. I did bring that to their attention. Lastly, when I went to pay the bill, the lady was having difficulty making change. She was trying her best. She had to call for assistance. He came over and helped her. We all have to learn how to count change back to the customer. Overall. The food was great. Would we go back? Yes. Because of the food. The issues I did address are standard repairs. This shows pride in your business and comfort to...
Read moreI’ve ate here a few times now. There salsa is some of best I have ever had, but it’s a little too spicy. I like spicy, but this is a tad bit too much. Today I didn’t get very much of it and the flavor was off also. Also the chicken rice and cheese is good but the chicken needs to cook for a little bit longer in my opinion. It is done, but it’s like they didn’t cook for a minute longer. It has that rubber texture to it. . Also it doesn’t come with tortillas to eat it with. In less they just have days they give them and days they don’t. There tacos look bomb but greasy and tacos aren’t suppose to be greasy and it needs more seasoning. Other than that this place is good. I think they just have good days and bad days. Also note if you say beef it is not ground beef. It is steak here. So if you are use to ordering and going to all the Mexican restaurants around here and familiar with there menus and there way of doing things. This place is a lot different. So ask details before ordering. Also the rainbow margaritas is pretty it just doesn’t look like the picture they post sometimes. For to go orders they are stingy with...
Read moreThis is what a Mexican restaurant should be. I've just moved from Texas to Mississippi, and the best Mexican restaurant I've been to in years is here in Corinth, Mississippi. This place is the antithesis of fancy. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. The house margaritas are great! And I've enjoyed all the food I've gotten. I recommend the street tacos. I think there's a selection of seven different meats for the street tacos. I got five different meats. I enjoyed them all. I did ask for a side of cotija cheese which is not actually on the menu. Maybe I shouldn't say that. They brought me some from the back. I like a little cheese on my tacos. But I think they'd be fine without it. So yeah, from a former Texan, I would highly recommend...
