Belk — Local services in Corinth

Re: Corinth, Mississippi Belk Absolutely horrible service. I went in this morning to return an item that . The salesgirl said she could help me, then inspected the item, and then started helping another customer. Nothing said to me at all. I waited and waited and finally another clerk came over and said they couldn’t accept the return because it looked like it had been used. Well, of course it had been used; how else was I to know that it didn’t work!?!?? I said “okay” and they just stood there. They finally went over and put the item back in the box so I could take it back. The first salesgirl should’ve told me right off that they wouldn’t take it back instead of ignoring the issue and going about helping someone else and having me stand there. They should’ve taken the item back. I ordered it online, picked up in store, and it said it was returnable. I saw some cute things on my way in this morning that I meant to buy after my return. Not only did I not buy those things, I won’t be back and I won’t purchase from Belk again. I will also warn people to not shop there. Shameful...

Went to buy some shoes and looked around. The sign said that shoes are on sale, so got some JellyPops and some earrings and went to check out. Lady was scanning told us what we owe, said a price that didn't make sense because we added all up before going to check out to make sure we had it on us. So we said the shoes are on sale it sitting right under the ''on sale'' sign so we were very confused so got the manager up there with us told her the situation, she honored the price that was on sale, so we highly recommend Belk's and will get the word around about this situation! You want decent staff great service and honesty, then get on over there...

I am in love with this store. I've never been good at picking out clothes but my kids and I all very much like the selection. The sizes are so consistent that I even shop online at belk now and haven't had a problem yet. For what it's worth, I'm 5'7 and i have a very large frame, large feet and legs. And a long torso, which is extremely hard to dress if you have one you already know. I find comfortable flattering clothes here and for some advice, it's much more affordable if you shop the on sale items only. Otherwise it's a bit pricy but worth it.
