Chicken tasted like paper mache, it was dry and fell apart in a bad way. The food was soggy and tasteless. The cheese dip was just warm milk with a hit of cheese from where they cut the dip with cream I guess to cut costs? Lastly, the ground beef looked, smelled, and tasted like potted meat or deviled ham.(see pictures) It was a red color with weird clear strands of something in it. We complained to the waiter and he offered no solution. He just brushed us off. Not recommended at all.

Friday evening at El Patron. Service was fast obviously wanting to turn tables. We had a a few house margaritas not realizing they weren’t on happy hour and costs $12.50 each. The Mexican guacamole was great but the queso dip was a terrible velveta like soup. The fajitas were good although served after the side dishes. The chili rellano was covered in the same velvets soup. Shrimp tacos were bland. This meal was not worth the money imo.

I took my kids out to dinner - because I’m so nice…or maybe because I didn’t feel like cooking dinner. Either way, I’m so glad El Patron won the dinner spot vote. Our service was fast and friendly. The food was great as always. The atmosphere was family-friendly. AND…big news…there’s a robot cat that will bring your food to your table!

One star because of the children serving customers . I’m about teaching but not when they take cups , bring back the wrong cups or others for you and before you realize it you’re drinking after someone else , or not bringing the items back . This is not a a day care . Don’t let kids serve on a busy night . They are cute and sweet but there is a time and place and tonight was NOT it . Dissatisfied with the service . I don’t have a clue who I was drinking after someone else at the table got my cup ( I had two straws in mine , they had no straw and the other person had 1 straw all the cups came back with straws and mine came back with tea in it which I had coke ) . Why are kids serving ? I’m still very confused about this.. the one boy was cute doing it and tried his best but he’s just that a boy ! Teaching them work ethic is awesome but not on a busy night when they can’t do it on a slow night . I’m really mad at my drink because I am autoimmune compromised and going out in public is already a risk but I did it to spend time with my family I’ve not seen in while and to eat dinner just to put my mouth on some random persons straw . There is not one bit of difference than if you’d brought me someone’s already ate off of food . Disgusting! It’s not the poor children’s fault but the people who are allowing them to do an adults job and the adults not watching over or making sure it’s done right . DO BETTER! I’ve been coming here since they opened and always recommend and brag but it’s really gone down hill over the years . I’ll start driving a few extra mins and take my business else where . I hate to see what this place has become because Roberto was very welcoming , helpful, caring , passionate, honest , would take care of his customers and try to make it right but now I get the sense his heart isn’t in it because it’s just went down . I have always loved this place regardless of the bad service at times I stayed faithful but tonight just really set a disgust in me and I can’t stop thinking about who’s mouth was on that straw and if I’m going to catch something or come down with something that hospitalizes me when I have a family who depends on me...

Been here twice. Service was good each time. However, this most recent visit I noticed discrepancies in the menu prices in comparison to the receipt. In addition, when we walked in there were two foldable whiteboards showcasing specials. One showed food items for each day of the week Monday- Friday. The second board showcased drinks. House specials. House margaritas $6.99 (which was super syrupy) & house shots $4.99. Instead receipt showed $12.47 for the house margarita, $6.23 per house shot. Along with that the menu prices for a single taco is $3.50 the receipt showed $4.15. Three tacos on the menu showed $8.50, the receipt. $8.84. 1 burrito deluxe menu prices 8.99, receipt, $9.35, one tostada ceviche $6.50. Needless to say the receipt showed a different price. This wouldn’t have been an issue for a few items but everything advertised being a different price is ridiculous. Another surprise was not only were the prices for drinks twice as advertised, but the receipt also had total and cash total. That was new. Which I also think is ridiculous considering this isn’t a gas station where the price is different based of if you’re paying cash or credit. The servers are nice. And have on each occasion visited the table to ensure nothing was needed. The atmosphere is nice, not too loud and there is also an outside eating area and the food is decent. & it’s kid and family friendly. Unfortunately, I had to give three stars based on the discrepancies. Unfortunately, I would not return, the bill was $35 more than it...

Let me preface this by saying I LOVE Mexican food. Americanized Mexican anyway. I'd probably get down with authentic as well, but I'm not sure that I've ever really had it. That being said, this review is tempered with rose-colored glasses... Pro: The flavor of the food was ok. It was edible. My boyfriend had some sort of super platter that came on a huge novelty plate. That was kinda fun. Cons: Cleanliness. The first table we were sat at was so sticky that I had to wash up to my elbows when we were finally moved to a cleaner one. Service. We stood at the front door for way longer than we should have before we were greeted. It was pretty awkward. Once we got to the cleaner table, it took quite awhile to get our order taken. And the waitress was giving off the vibe that we were perhaps the greatest inconvenience she had ever suffered. Food. So the flavor was ok. The temperature was not. We ordered queso for the chips and it was nowhere close to hot. Tepid really. And when we got our entrees, they were the same way. The plates were hotter than the food.

All in all this place was on the verge of 2 stars. We were just passing through, so it's a definite not again for us. How heartbreaking to be disappointed by Mexican food!! But, everybody gets...
