Been knowing of this establishment for quite some time but finally getting here! It's owner Marilyn and her hubby are making it work. And yall it's worth the $35. She can BAKE! Her desserts were scrumptious and succulent. I had the pistachio swirl nut cake. One dessert and unlimited beverages are available. Assortment of Tazo teas. Several coffee selections. Reg water or perrier, lemonade, tea. Extra dessert in house or to go are $5-6. No more than you pay at any other restaurant. I got to meet ladies my age. Fellowship and listen to some bomb jazz by "The Groove Master" $35...WHAT? I've paid x2 as much to hear jazz & got nothing to eat or drink w/ cost of ticket. Various artist play on select Sundays. Support this Black couples business yall. It's a cute lil quaint and cozy joint. Feels like The Color Purple Harpos Juke Joint but on a 21st century scale...its clean, perfectly decorated.
