Great friendly little bar on base. They have free pizza during "happy hour". I my case it was not free. It was the first place I found after arriving on a Space A flight and checking into my room. Don't be a rookie like me and walk in with a baseball cap (hat) or you will hear cheers and a bell ring. Next thing you know your buying a round for the bar. Thankfully, when I entered only four people where at the bar. The round was $32.00 with tip. Four new friends, great conversation and several slices of pizza (to try to make up for the loss).

They also have rules against putting a cell phone on the bar (almost got me on that one also) & touching any of the model aircraft hanging from the ceiling so be careful.

Hey, I am retired Air Force what do I know about crazy Navy rules. It...

A little challenging to find, just off the flight line… but definitely worth the adventure! If you’re a history buff, especially regarding U.S. Navy Aviation enjoying a beverage here is a must visit. We were greeted as we entered, served a great local draft beer and a chilled glass of Pinot Grigio. We explored this small bar and all the memorabilia! The classic Art Deco adorned with models, plaques and creatively crafted awards. The courtyard stroll around the fountain was a walk back in time, and the large banquet hall was well worth our time. Now we know where to come to relax, enjoy the feel of...

Been wanting to visit this place for awhile since I'm a big fan of TopGun: Maverick. This bar was the inspiration for the Hard Deck bar in the movie, down to the airplane models on the ceiling.

It's a very small place and doesn't accommodate a a lot of people. For special events, they do have an adjacent room that's large enough for ceremonies.

Some things to keep in mind: don't touch the model airplanes and don't put your phone on the bar (or else you'll have to buy everyone a round). You'll also need a military ID to get in base unless you're with someone...

A Navy Helicopter Heritage Bar w/ lots of models. 4 rules: 1.no cover inside 2. Don't touch the models 3. No Phones on Bar 4. Dice off the floor Break one... buy the bar a round. Open to those with base access. One of the top 3 military bars I've visited. Decent well of drinks. Friendly aviators.
