Very bad experience! The food needed more flavor, but the worst part is that we ordered "fresh" menudo. It was so soft and soggy, but I got passed the fact that it couldn't be fresh. However, there was tons of onion in it. I don't eat my menudo with onion...more onion than hominy. I've never seen it that way anywhere I've had it. I immediately told the waitress, who didn't seem to have a problem with it, until I went to pay. She was trying to charge us for it, because I "tasted " it lol. She didn't have customer service skills at all. She was mad and decided to charge for 2 refills, even though no one else at the table asked for refills. Don’t let the look of the building turn you away to the other restaurants in the area that our full of cars … I don’t get it since moving to Anaville area I tried every Mexican joint from Anaville to calallen & their always full of customers & this place never as full as everyone else , so sadly I ended up trying it last & wow it’s really the best place around here hands down … great bean , egg & bacon taco … for sure the best Barbacoa this side of town has to offer… if you need hotter, hot sauce, ask them for the habanero & they’ll give it to you… I feel like slapping everyone around here bc they don’t...

This place is an excellent place for breakfast tacos. I've been there twice for Barbarcoa and Carne Guisada with Potato tacos. The tacos have always been very hearty (the prices are also the best) and the flavor is really good. The hot sauce is good as well. Everytime I have gone, the parking lot has been almost empty. Don't let that fool you. Try this place! It's easy to spot. The building is painted in the colors of the flag of 🇲🇽. I have been to taquerias all over Corpus and this place is at the top...
