Let me start by saying I love Taco Casa. I've been going there for years. I drive from Houston to Dallas quite a bit and whenever I do the kids and I always stop at the one in Corsicana and also go to the ones in Dallas while we're there, and I've never had a problem with the food or customer service. That being said, I stopped at the Corsicana location on Dec. 28 at 1:45. The cashier was talking and laughing with her co-worker and took her time walking to the counter. That really didn't bother me until she got to the counter and just looked at me and said absolutely nothing. No "hello" or "how may I help you." Nothing. So I said "hello" and placed my order. When she asked for a name for the order I spelled it out. (I do that all the time because I know my name can be difficult to spell). Every time I've done this in the past, the cashier types it in, even if they misspell it, that's okay. This woman just paused and then just typed an "X." Then when my order was ready, she got it, brought it to the counter, and again, said absolutely nothing. When I got to my car I realized I forgot to order a drink and opted to go through the drive thru. The woman at the window was very polite and helpful. Again, I've never had a problem at any of your locations, but that woman was extremely rude and if I ever stop there again and walk in and see her, I'm going to turn around and leave.

The cashier was very nice and knew what she was doing. I love Taco Casa and eat at them all over the place many times a month, every month so I feel like I know what to expect. My chilada was light on the sauce, cheese, and meat. My taco was light on everything. And I had someone with me that didn't want a drink so he ordered a water and they charged for a cup of water which I find to be offensive and bad policy.

Taco casa is always a good bang for the buck if they run a tight ship. The girl at the register could be a more attentive to you standing at the counter but that's typical service of young workers this day and age for the most part. Never too busy at this location and the tables are clean.

I'm biased, I will admit. My son worked there for 4 months, and was one of their best workers. I liked the management, as I dealt with them frequently, but I can see management has changed, and so has some of the quality of service as well. Last time I went there was a week ago, and as I was sitting and having a meal with my daughter, one of their new managers (Crystal) was bad mouthing one of her employees, who had left because his shift ended. She was doing so to a customer who was angry at the employee for not serving him when he was off the clock. Granted, there are rules in place for this, and the employee likely broke that rule...I do not condone the manner in which she handled it, by encouraging bashing of said employee, especially loud enough to where other customers could hear. It only serves to discourage other customers to want to come back, and give you just an ugly feeling all around.

Otherwise, the food is excellent every time, and served hot. The cleanliness depends on who is...

Food was good as usual but the employee working drive thru probably needs a break. We felt like we were bothering her by placing an order and getting food. The outside of our containers had food on them and it was a bit messy but we didn't mind... I mean who isn't gonna get a little messy eating super nachos spread out! I would have given 5 stars but the drive thru experience was very unpleasant and uncomfortable. She started taking our order then said hold on. After several minutes we had to ask if anyone was there and got a "yeah". We started over with our order which annoyed her and led to "anything else" after everything we said. When we paid she was not very happy and kind of slapped the change in my husband's hand. He was shocked and made the comment that we must be really bothering her by ordering food... but it is kind of a food place and we were hungry. The food hand off didn't go any...
