YO! Catfish & Burgers — Restaurant in Corsicana

We have been looking for a GOOD catfish eating place and guess what? We FOUND it!!! They know how to do fried catfish right! I had the 2 piece catfish basket with amazing crunchy onion rings, and a small side of coleslaw. Hubby had 8 piece fried shrimp (butterflied and about the size of my palm) fried okra and hush puppies and coleslaw! Oh and drinks were included in the price. My catfish was so delicious, hot and cooked perfect. Hubby couldn’t eat all his food (but then he did steal half of one of my pieces of fish!!). He said it was perfectly cooked and tasted very good. Service was friendly. Not sure if we could have asked for anything better. The owner even checked on several times!! Next time I plan on trying their hamburgers. I hear they are made fresh. Some folks might think the price is a little steep, but cost...

I would love to give a great review, but, in all honesty, I can't. It looks pretty new. That was nice. Loved the music, mostly Morgan Wallen.After ordering, the Hood Sampler, it took almost 45 minutes to be served. It was piping hot. I have never had deep fried ribs. It was greasy and tough. The fish was good. The chicken wing was greasy and tough. The okra was saturated in grease. The shrimp was ok, personally I didn't care for the corn meal coating. The heat came on once while we were there but didn't stay on long enough to warm us in the 45° temps. We were visiting in the area, but will not be back to yo Catfish. We did not complain employees because it just didn't seem the thing to do, knowing we wouldn't be back. We wish them well but our money will go elsewhere in the future. Look no hype it doesn't we do our best to keep everyone happy we not asking for a whole lot but come out here and try us out I can guarantee you that you will have the best food you have ever put in your mouth no lie we stand behind everything we put out come in see us there's not a person in town that can touch our cooking staff if don't believe me try me our Burgers best intown you don't need anything to put on that's how juciey they are our catfish you can't find anywhere else but right here at yo catfish&burgers not only that the deep fried ribs the best pork chops the best u name I can cook it to th T if I'm not there our cooking staff can you do it we cook with love here everything is fresh to cook come out Mondays all the way to Saturday we will be waiting for you all thank yall GOD BLESS YOU...
