Roger's Frosty — Restaurant in Cottonwood

My rating is based on three factors: curb appeal, service experience and food quality.

We spotted this place on an afternoon drive through Cottonwood and decided to give it a try. The building is a small food "shack" that looks a bit rough for wear. We noticed they had quite a line and a couple of full tables to the side of the building: a family or two with ice cream in hand, and thought it looked tasty so we stepped in line. The wait lasted about 10minutes as we stood on the sidewalk waiting to be greeted from the window. Our order was finally taken and we waited an additional 10minutes before receiving our Milk Shakes - the fries we ordered never actually made it to the window. After an additional 25minute wait for Chili fries we gave up and left. I'm sure the fries would have been tasty - the food quality must be decent because they were steadily busy for the entire duration of our visit; however, we only received our milkshakes. Mine was tasty! I ordered a coffee shake with vanilla and it tastes like a vanilla latte! My hubby ordered a strawberry cheesecake shake and it was also delicious. I wish I could rate the food but we never received the item we ordered and weren't even addressed after paying. If you are passing through and enjoy a good milkshake give this place a try but Stay away if you are in a hurry - you will definitely have quite a wait time at this location! Rogers Frosty's food is always fresh and delicious. Their secret sauce is to die for, also their milkshakes and ice cream always hit the right spot anytime of year. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

☝🏼 Was my original post 4 years ago. As of today 11/12/24 I would no longer recommend to anyone. This burger joint has been my ultimate favorite since a little girl and always brought nostalgia from visiting with my grandma on a regular basis. Seems the products have been changed. Went today and the customer service received was below average. The man acted like he listened to my order but didn’t input anything until after I finished which was simply 3 chocolate ice creams; one dipped in chocolate 2 in cups with sprinkles. Once he started inputting the Oder he asked what we wanted again. So, I repeated. My ice cream came out wrong. I asked for it to be remade and he stated “ I can’t do chocolate dipped in chocolate. The chocolate isn’t allowed to dip”…. Like what!?🙄 I then stated I used to work here and know you absolutely can. That makes no sense. It wouldn’t have been a big deal but as a paying customer we should be given the proper attention when ordering and not lied & gaslit once we ask for the order that was repeated twice to be corrected. In addition it was rudely pushed out the window…. Definitely won’t be coming...

This food was disgusting. It’s been an hour since I ate their food and my stomach badly hurts. The burger was disgusting who put taco seasoning on a burger. The fries were delicious. I usually sit down in the inside of the restaurant, but it was so covered and flies that I rather have sat outside than inside. The gentleman at the Window was rude. We told him no tomatoes on one sandwich he put tomatoes, and when my boyfriend goes and correct , the problem grabs the tomato out of his burger with no gloves no nothing and tells him here he go. Disgusting. There are flies everywhere in the kitchen. I am not feeling well. I will never return here. are used to love this place, but after the new Owner it went downhill fast. The young lady that was at the window and Was talking with my boyfriend about the experience there. She was completely understanding and professional and took the complaint seriously.
