Tonix Bar LLC — Restaurant in Coventry Township

In response to John Grayson's review, Mr. Grayson, you are so very incorrect. Please tell me when you were in Tonix Bar. Take a good look at my profile picture. First of all, I do Not have a boyfriend! Second, I do NOT make out with Anyone at work! I have worked at Tonix Bar for 21 years and if I acted as you have accused me, I'd have been fired a long time ago. If, after looking at my picture, you still believe it was me, please see your eye doctor because you obviously have vision issues. Also, no one at Tonix would ever water down the drinks. It's usually the opposite. The next time you are in Akron, Ohio, Portage Lakes, specifically, please stop in and see when I'm working, and I'll make you a perfect drink and show you what a good bartender acts like. I cried when my boss showed me your review, not because any of it is true, but because you posted something so awful, and none of it is true. And because you told these awful lies, about me, to people who don't know me, so they will believe your lies, and I can't even defend myself. Shame on you,...

The actual bar isn't huge, especially for the amount of room around the bar, but it was ok... There were seats for us when we got inside. The bartender on shift while my dude and I were there was very nice. (I wanna say her name was Courtney?) We were there for shift change and it was a pretty smooth transition. Not like some places where they gotta stop everything and it takes forever... It was a Saturday, early evening and there was a band setting up to perform that night... Honestly? There isn't enough room in this s place for bands to jam out, but apparently they do it.. I was hoping there weren't any mics or sound equipment to amplify the level of noise that was about to take place there... As we weren't there for the noise, we had a few quick drinks and took off... Overall, it was an ok visit. Not super comfortable atmosphere, but that's me in any new place... They have a pool table and I think a few video games, maybe... Also had a variety of thing to munch on to...
