Located in Covington, Ga. It's a quaint , home made food, relaxing, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere! Our 1st visit! The wings were great! The onion rings were delicious, and battered, not breaded! Great portions for the price. Dessert....all is fresh homemade....Once it's gone for the day, that's all folks! Red velvet cake, ooey gooey bars, peanut butter cake and others. Burgers were huge! Fries are fresh cut. They have salads, which were large. The chili burger was messy, but I watched another person devour it, not stopping ! Lol...... try it out... you won't be disappointed! Hello! Tava's diner is a nice and small country diner owned by a very nice woman. I ordered the 10 piece wing with the hottest sauce and all flats. The wings were warm and not hot and flavor was average. I also got chili fries and that was alright. Fries were in the middle of being soggy and crispy but not in a good way, color was also desaturated making them look a bit unappetizing. Chili was also very tomato-ey. Ranch was AMAZING however, some of the best ranch I've ever had. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere was definitely very 90s which was refreshing from the modern and minimalistic looks of newer restaurants. Would recommend, however not amazing but keep up...

Dawn stayed busy turning tables keeping them clean. Kind to my family REMEMBERED some of our names. Lunch was great thanks to her suggestions. The okra was hard and still raw but the wings and grilled cheese and salad was delicious. Dawn was kind and I saw her working very hard.

Today I went back and they need another five stars. Toni, the chef was so kind and generous. I was very pleased with how much better this salad was than, ZAXBYS OR QUICK CHICK. YES. AWESOME FOR PEOPLE WHO WANT CHICKEN ON CHICKEN SALAD, UNLIKE THE ONE CHICKEN FINGER I GOT AT ZAXBYS. AND THE HOME MADE HONEY MUSTARD WAS PITCH PERFECT. TASTES EXACTLY LIKE QUICK CHICK IF NOT...
