Mather's Bar — Restaurant in Craig

The place is definitely good for people watching, but I'd say that's about where it ends.

The bar staff carries tasers on them, and when I asked if it's because it gets out of hand in the bar, she replied, "It used to, but not anymore," as she tapped on her taser. The other bartender was spun out of her mind - I'm not sure what drug she was on, but holy cow, she was high as a kite, couldn't make eye contact, and couldn't keep her head from twitching (I hope they took her taser away).

There was a couple of guys so drunk, that they were being served their drinks in plastic cups, and could barely stay on their bar stool, let alone stand and walk out of the place.

A woman walked in at some point so tossed back - much like the bartender - that we weren't even sure how she made her way to bar; she was probably wondering how she got there herself.

If it wasn't for me visiting this interesting bar with my husband and befriending a few other characters as amused by the people watching as we were, I definitely wouldn't be visiting this place alone... at least not...

Other raters may not have been there on the night we went to Mather's. Our first bartender was more concerned about her personal phone call on the business phone than waiting on customers. After waiting for more than 5 minutes, we finally got a beer from her and decided to move to the restaurant bar in hopes of better service. There we found a bartender getting yelled at by her supervisor for all to hear. Then the supervisor waited on us to allow the restaurant bartender to compose herself. Then the supervisor began making out behind the bar with some guy who would often raise his shirt, scratch his stomach, and admire himself in the back bar mirror. I proceeded to get the giggles from all of these distractions and figured we better finish our pasta salad that took about 45...

I had the worst experience at mathers today, went there for dinner. My husband had to go out to the car to get extra cash for a tip and one lady came out and said “umm so did u forget to tip her?!” It was surprised to here someone chace the person out of the restaurant and say that I was blown away! What was really mind blowing was he was already going out to get the tip bc that is where my extra cash was. Just blown away I won’t...
