Damascus Grill — Restaurant in Cranston

My wife and I went to this Greek festival in Cranston hoping to try their advertised “best” gyro in town. The line was soo long and parking was full including the side streets several feet away. Found this Damascus grill as I was looking for something to eat in google map as an alternative. I ordered the Shish chicken bowl and my wife the beef shawarma with onion rings. It didn’t disappoint and saw my wife finished the whole Shawarma by herself (less a couple of bites from me) which is a rare sight. Stopped by as i have been driving by this place now for a couple weeks. Ordered the American Chicken Shawarma. It was very good, i do regret not getting the steak Shawarma. I think that will be the next trip there. Owner/Workers were very friendly and helpful and let me sample a couple sauces and rice. Small place with options to buy what looks to be Authentic groceries as well. they do have some tables inside to eat in. I recommend you come in and at least give it a try. I will be back...

Wicked friendly staff. They haven't been open for two weeks and the family and I have already ordered twice trying the menu which is still limited but darn good. So far rice and chicken bowl is favorite but they american schwarma is really good and filling. Kids really love the chicken fingers and fries on the menu, which are really good. I appreciate that they didn't cheap out on the tenders. Looking forward to the expanding menu and getting the music playing the front...
