come down to the best and only restaurant in town
Fedor VasilyevFedor Vasilyev
Had dinner here while staying in town. The restaurant itself is neat and pretty nice, and my server was great. The food, however… Let’s get to the food, because oh man do I have a lot to say. I had the chicken wrap, which was labeled as the “specialty” here. I was also asked if I wanted it grilled or fried, and chose grilled. Now what would come to mind when you think of a grilled chicken wrap? A piece of chicken breast, on a grill, with spices, cooked perfectly and sliced, with these slices wrapped with some lettuce and tomato, maybe some peppers and greens, all with a little bit of a nice sauce. Right? Well, what I got was a wrap that had small (I mean TINY) bits of CUBED chicken that was white and not at all spicy or seasoned. How did you all grill those tiny cubes, guys? Is there a tiny grill you all have back there? Besides the tiny cubes, the wrap was just stuffed full of various salad greens (they made up roughly 85% of the contents). I also made the mistake of choosing balsamic dressing when I was asked, but there was a LOT of that in there too. Finally, the absolute pinnacle of this wrap was the GRAPES. Yes, they added grapes to it — and not like small tangy grapes, but full on huge super sweet candy grapes. Absolutely diabolical choice of ingredients. So the final result was a “chicken” wrap that was: - Cold - Soggy - Incredibly acidic - Incredibly sweet because of the stupid grapes - Had nearly no chicken The only bright spot were the sweet fries, because they were amazing. It’s a testament to how hungry I was that I still ate half of that wrap, struggling for my life. To whoever is making culinary decisions at this restaurant — I sincerely hope that you reconsider your vocation.

My wife says best chicken tenders she has ever had in her life!! We stayed in this cute little town of Crawford, Colorado and there is literally only one restaurant and one coffee shop lol. @North Fork Boardwalk has it going on!!!!! My daughter ordered the chicken tenders with hand cut French fries and it was sooooooo good!!! It was more like fish and chips batter and so so good! So crispy and you can tell it was made with lots of love. The French fries were random cuts of potatoes and I just loved them. Everything we had was super good and the owner/chef/server had some training in Italy and you can tell she loves food and cares about the ones that eat it. She also featured vegan and gluten friendly options. Also while your in this town visit Needle Rock a formation that stands 80 stories tall. #thechefsview #colorado #coloradofood #chickentenders

Over the course of 26 years I have done Soo much in that establishment!!! My mother and I worked together there for 10 years! I had my 1,2,&3 baby showers (they are now 24, 21, &18!), shared countless holidays, heck I had to start a fire every morning to warm up the place when I 1st started working there as a cook for $4 an hr!!! done dishes, cooked, waitressed, bartended, fixed the plumbing, It's like home. I just returned after being gone for several years and I lost a bunch of weight so nobody recognizes me! Anyways, the good old boardwalk was one of my 1st stops.. my niece and nephew and I sneak out and go indulge in their spectacular French Fries!!! .I love the French fries and ice cold beer!! Family friendly even if you aren't a local!! I recommend the North Fork Boardwalk. Sorry it's...
