Absolutely loved this hidden gem! Marty was our server, and she was amazing. She moved us twice because we could decide on a table or booth. This was just what I needed. Some comfort food. I got the grilled pork chops with honey barbecue sauce, mashed potatoes, and green beans. My husband had the prime ribs sandwich. My brother had the blt or marveled rye, and my nephew had the spaggetti with meat sauce. The portions are huge. The pork chops were tender and had a great flavor. The only change i would change is the amount of bbq sauce on them. Ask for light bbq sauce. The sauce is really good it is just too much sauce. The mashed potatoes are instant but had a good flavor. The green beans were really good with bacon in them. I tried my husband's open faced prime rib, and it was really good! Good flavor, cooked the way he liked it. My brothers BLT was LOADED with bacon. He said it was really good. The spaggetti (isn't pictured because he started eating it before I could take a picture) was a large portion. I myself did not try it, so I can't speak for it. My nephew said, "It was too saucy for him.) Oh, forgot about the potato skins. They were basic but very good! The location was beautiful! You can sit outside with a view of the creek and woods. The inside was decorated so cute for Easter. Good place for Easter pics! They had 2 sides. Family dining and the bar bar side. We did the family dining. The menu is simple and has something for everyone, in my opinion. We will definitely eat here again when visiting the family. Price for 3 meals, drinks, and appetizers $100. My brother would like me to add that they only serve can beer on the family side and put it in a mug. Give this place a try if you are in Crawfordsville, IN.

My husband, toddler, and I are traveling from out of state. After eating at several restaurants this was the first we felt deserved a review. While they have it addressed they are a bit short staffed (who isn’t these days?), you wouldn’t have noticed from their speed of service we received. It wasn’t very busy, just a nice cozy atmosphere. We started with the mushroom appetizer, which had good flavor by itself even without a dipping sauce. The sweet tea was great and tasted like true southern sweet tea we would get back home. I then decided on the Hawaiian personal pizza, and my husband got the lemon pepper chicken pasta. Both had great flavor and good portions. We topped it off with a slice of their white chocolate raspberry cheesecake to-go, and ended up wishing we had bought another slice. Any minor problems we had were quickly resolved and my small family was treated so nicely. We will definitely be returning before leaving Crawfordsville. Edit to add: We did in fact return and received just as good of service the second time. Our server Marti was so kind and helpful, and made us feel very welcomed even as our toddler was rambunctious. Very glad we came back!

Cute restaurant in a serene location next to a creek on the outskirts of town. Easy access from I-74. The website could use some updated pictures. It's a little more run down from wear and tear, still not bad. The menus were a little rough/faded too. Service: Coke products. We did get a refill, but had to ask for it. Food came out in all 3 acceptable amount of time, not super quick though. Ok, Food: Chili, pass. More like a vegetable soup with meat and beans added. Sandwiches were good. I got the small patty melt and it was made right. No complaint. The potato salad is different. It is very rich with bacon, cheese, onions. It tasted good and I got a huge portion. The tenderloin was fantastic. Idk if it's on the tenderloin trail, but it should be. It was fresh, thick, and good size around and not all breading. The fries were basic. Lastly got the carrot cake to go. Good thing, cuz it was still cold/slightly frozen and at $8.99 for a basic sized slice, I would probably pass next time. Overall, not bad. Would probably eat here again.

We are staying in town for the weekend and wanted to try a local restaurant so we picked here based on good reviews. Boy were we wrong. We had a party of 8 and the restaurant was under half capacity when we arrived. Seated immediately and drink order placed. Meals placed shortly after. First soups/salads came out 45 min after. Mind you, half empty restaurant and employees running around everywhere. 2 of the 3 salads were brought out and another 15 min later the last salad was finally brought out. Our dinners slowly arrived about 20 min later, putting us over an hour wait for dinner served. Only half of us got our meals and then the others came out 10 or so minutes after. One meal was completely cold, one was completely over cooked (pork chops charred to a crisp), one meal missing sides, another meal undercooked, and one meal looked like someone got hungry in the kitchen and started snacking on the plate before sending it out. It was truly comical how messed up our orders were. We tried to be understanding, and the waitress was willing to help. After such a long wait time and disappointment one friend sent her meal back and decided to just go without food, the other with overcooked porkchops offered to have it remade and was brought out new porkchops UNDERCOOKED. Two times now the same plate was messed up. The waitress finally found the "manager" and came out to assess the damage and couldn't have been less useful or empathetic. All he had to say was, " Let me take the plate back to show the cooks what they did wrong." At this point we were so dissatisfied we finished what little food was edible and high tailed it out of there. We also noticed a couple who came in and sat down 15 minutes before we left and had never been waited on, ended up leaving shortly after us as we saw them in the parking lot. They saved themselves the heartache and everyone else should too by avoiding this place. I don't know what happened in the last year or so that turned this place into what it is now, but we have nothing good to say at all about it. I hope new management can turn it around, it has potential!

UPDATE My husband woke up 4 hours after eating here with...

We went there on Friday October 4, 2019, got seated at 6pm in a booth. The booths behind us had customers and there were 3 different waitresses taking care of those booths and every time they took care of their booths not one of them looked at us or even acknowledge us. After sitting there for 15 minutes we got up and as we was walking out I ask the hostess if they even had a waitress for that booth, she had a stunned look on her face, I explained to her that not one single waitress came to our table or even acknowledge us, so we walked out. I called the restaurant around 7 and spoke with the manager and she was aware of our situation and apologize and said she was going to speak with the General Manager Chad about our situation on Saturday October 5, 2019 and make it right for us and she took my name & # and would definitely call me back on Saturday and let me know how they were going to make it right. Well it is Saturday October 5, 2019 at 7:30pm and no phone call. First of all if she is the manager for that shift then why didn't she make it right for us on the phone. Wanted to really try this place and this is the kind of treatment we got on our first visit!! VERY DISAPPOINTED...
