Frustrated with the bustling metropolis of Eugene we searched for a lunch spot in a small town where we could enjoy a more relaxed pace of life.
Husband located Blue Valley Bistro and with just one look at their sandwich pictures had us nodding in agreement.
Driving south on I-5 we kept getting multiple giant billboard taunts by another local bakery. We stayed our course and headed here and were rewarded with a delicious lunch.
We split a large Turkey Pesto and a large Veggie Hummus panini. We can’t decide between the two which was best. Both equally yummy. Times like this it’s double rewarding to be married - get to try multiple tasty treats in one sitting.
Highly recommend this place for lunch. Sure. It’s on a grocery store shopping center, but they did the ambiance just right. Tables outside with decor and inside looked cozy, too.

Read moreWasn't the greatest first impression unfortunately I ordered my meals to go(bagle and burrito) waited over 45min for it, other people were getting food that had ordered after me. I got my drinks first which was good but had cooled down by the time I got my food, they said they had lost my ticket but they were going to make it right by putting in a rush order and getting a refund but before that happened somehow my food appeared right after. Such a bummer. I'm very picky with matcha 😆 Matcha latte was good they use ceremonial unsweetened matcha (mountain rose I believe is what they said)
Burrito was ok could have used more seasoning
Veggie bagel was good but avocado wasn't fresh looking had black spots.
I'll give it another chance if I'm in town, I do like that they have specialty coffee drinks and matcha something Creswell Bakery lacks unfortunately
Nice atmosphere good...

We had the breakfast burrito (large, great sausage, with egg and cheese and carmelized onions!) blueberry crepe (not too sweet, had real blueberries) matcha latte( way better than my daily Starbucks) iced chai latte to go, (COMPOSTABLE TO GO CUP 💕)and a Nutella brownie (also not too sweet, but super chocolatey and satisfying.) Now we know where to eat when we drive from Portland to Eugene. Be careful, however- you may miss the fact that the signs outside say Creswell Coffee, but it really is also the excellent Blue...
