Placed an online pick-up order for 2 footlongs and a kids meal, got a call saying they didn't have the ingredients to make my order but weren't able to refund me because there was no manager available. Manager calls me the next day saying they also couldn't refund me because the payment went through with Paypal but they would write down my address and "make it up to me." A few weeks later, I receive 3 coupons for 6 inch subs in the mail. Didn't think that was really equal to what I purchased but oh well, put them in my wallet. A few months go by and we had eaten at Subway a couple times but forgot to use the coupons. The day I finally go to use them, I turned one over to realize the Creswell manager had written that they expire a couple weeks after the incident took place anyway. I sent an email basically saying hey you guys have $20 of our money and we have literally nothing to show for it. Can I still use the coupons since you wrote them to expire a couple weeks after you guys took our money? Got an emotionless response of something like "no the coupons are expired therefore you cannot use them." Beside that issue, this location has countless problems and they can pretty much all fall back on BAD management. I will not be supporting this location going further (Cottage Grove is worth the drive if absolutely needed) and would encourage others to...
Read moreOne word... Katie. Katie is awesome. When the online system kicked my order out, I went to the Cottage Grove Subway because I wasn't sure if I was charged or not since I had already entered my credit card info. The employees at the Cottage Grovw location didn't know what to do and wouldn't even honor the online promotion so that I could still get my sandwiches. Instead I was told there was nothing they could do and that maybe my order had been routed to the Creswell store because apparently that happens quite often, according to the employees. I asked if there was a manager I could talk to and I was told that the manager was gone but they could leave a message for them to call me later. I asked why they wouldn't honor the coupon and girl said they aren't allowed to honor online coupons. So I called Creswell again and asked if they would honor the online coupon. Katie offered to call her manager and ask. THAT is good customer service! She called me back and said they would be willing to honor the coupon so I gladly drove all the way to Creswell to do business with their Subway. Katie me two outstanding sandwiches and treated me with kindness and consideration, which is more than I can say for the employees in Cottage Grove. That location is consistently disappointing.
Thank you Katie for making this right and for making my...
Read morePoor management has caused efficiency to plummet. Slow turnout speed during my experience caused multiple customers to become disgruntled and angry. When confronted on the poor efficiency the claimed “district manager” for the creswell store working 1/28/24 @noon also claimed first come first serve to a customer while openly displaying the opposite. Once the disgruntled customer left the “district manager” and fellow employees showed there VERY HONEST opinion of the man who confronted them blatantly in-front of a store full of other customers. They let the knives to cut sandwiches in half soak in a disgusting tub full of water mixed with who knows what all day. Glove/ hand washing ignored after the dispute cross contaminating everything during the process. They are always out of 4-5 things they offer as well.
To finish my review, if your wanting a tasty sandwich for lunch. Go to the grocery store and build one yourself, youll save money, be much more sanitary and ultimately not have to be disrespected and lied to by someone who visibly has no idea how their job works and thinks he’s the most educated man...
