Staff ignored us for a long time. Shkuld have left then. We took a table - no other diners inside - finally a waitress came over and took our drink orders. Our glasses were almost all ice. The server glared at my son for asking for a refill with no ice. Our food took way longer than it should have. We received our appetizer the same time as our food. It was the only good part of the meal. All our entrees were overcooked. Dry dry chicken. I had Chicken Don (the reason we stopped and stayed- recommended highly), one son had a chicken sandwich, and the other had wings. The sandwich was supposed to come with a side and he chose cole slaw. It didn't come with his sandwich and when he asked about it, the server went to get it and didn't come back to check on us until after we had finished eating. We asked after the cole slaw and she said "I'll see whats taking them so long." Brought back a very tiny cup of cole slaw (which was very good and creamy). Then we asked for the bill and she charged my son $1.99 for the slaw that was supposed to come with his sandwich and then didn't. So rude. It took a chain of 4 people to fix the mistake. The whole time there were multiple employees just sitting around visiting. It was a bad bad experience. Not one I'm going to...
Read moreLunch time on a Friday. Bar was full, but only a couple tables were occupied. Very friendly and attentive staff. Austyn was my server and made sure I had everything I needed on a regular basis. Food came out in a timely fashion and was very fresh and hot. The Jalapeno caps were an excellent appetizer with a decent portion size, fresh crispy batter and the southwest sauce put it over the edge on flavor. Will get again! The tenderloin (full) is everything you would expect of a Midwest tenderloin. The tenderloin was about the size of the plate, was tender and had a nice flakey batter. A nice selection of toppings was provided as well. I opted for the onion rings as my side and they were some of the best onion rings I have ever had. You can tell immediately that they make them themselves on site. They have the same light crispy batter as the jalapeno caps and were cooked all the way through. I confirmed with the waitress that they make them here and she was very proud of the fact that they do. It's very refreshing seeing staff proud of their food and they have every right to be! I will definitely be making Crusen's one of my regular stops...
Read moreIf you are planning on going to Crusens on 29 today I would NOT recommend going. We just sat for 45 minutes never got our drinks or anything after putting the drink order in 10 minutes after being there. The two waitresses on duty were the rudest girls I’ve ever met in that type of establishment. When I went to talk to one of the waitresses about talking to a manager she said there was no manager on duty but she was acting manager. I told her we had been waiting 30 minutes for our drinks she then shrugged her shoulders and kinda looked around and I said that table came in after us and got their drinks and appetizers already she said yea cuz I took it for her. She said let me explain we had a server call in so either you can leave or if you would have ordered food I would comp your something off your bill. I said we did order she then proceeded to say well I don’t know you can leave if you’re not happy or you can wait… so...
