Today on February 2, 2024, I went through the drive thru and placed orders for my family members. Everything was good except my BLT that I ordered for cheese to be placed on it had no cheese. I went inside with the meal and explained the situation to the young lady at the register. The young man in the back said the bacon was not cold and that no cheese was on the receipt. I stated that cheese was requested for the sandwich and I would pay the difference. I said just disregard I just would like a refund for my meal. Then the young lady said she could not refund my money unless I brought my entire family’s meal back into the restaurant. I said my family does not have an issue with their meals I am the only person with an issue. I can’t because it was purchased with a debit card and I said that I have never heard of such foolishness. Then some guy sitting in the restaurant said I think you heard what she said she will not give you a refund unless you bring all the food back into the establishment. I asked him did he work in the restaurant he said, “No” I asked him then why are you speaking to me. Then the woman behind the register said that it was her husband and he had a first amendment right to speak to whoever he wanted. Then she said that she had the right to refuse my service and she was not going to refund my money… I asked numerous times to speak with a manager and she stated that she was the manager. I told her I know she could not be a manager because of her behavior but she insisted. Then her husband continued to engage with me about the situation and my husband asked him to stop speaking to me and he said that he didn’t have to stop talking to me. Then a young lady came up and gave me a refund after this unnecessary transaction and treatment. You pay more money for things and receive poor quality of services from employees that have no idea how their adverse behavior impacts the reputation of an...
Read moreWe aren't fans of their burgers. They're on the small side, especially for the price. They pride themselves on cooking the burgers to order. That's great and all, but when you have to wait in the drive thru for 15-20 minutes, it's not great. People behind you get ticked off We go through the drive thru to get ice cream. Love that they still have the Blue Bell dip station! It's usually a quick process, if there's no one in line before you. (We won't go if there is more than one car in the drive thru.) This time, the young lady who took our order just could not seem to get it right. We couldn't really tell if she was perhaps mentally challenged, or if she wasn't paying attention. We only order 2 ice creams, both were 1 scoop in a waffle cone. We then asked her how much a plain, empty cone was. Unfortunately, this was just too much for her to handle. Instead of selling us 1 empty cone along with our order, she took it upon herself to try to change our order from waffle cones to sugar cones. I saw what she was doing, so we tried to get her attention to let her know that we didn't want our order changed. She absolutely would not look up or over at us. Finally, another customer, inside the store got her attention for us. The young lady came back to the window, and I tried again to explain the order to her. It was pretty ridiculous that she could not keep it straight. We even told her, multiple times, that the plain cone was for my daughter's pet that was in the car with us. What should have taken 5 minutes... tops, took a long time because of what appeared to be ineptitude. They weren't even busy. I don't understand why someone else didn't check on her since she was having so...
Read moreMichelle Jefferson. Entered the store and began yelling at four employees. She was upset that the B.L.T. she ordered didnt come with cheese. She admitted to assuming it would have cheese. She screamed and cursed and demanded a partial refund. The assistant manager onsite attempted to explain that she couldn't do a partial payment on a debit card and would have to refund the full ticket and rering it up. Mrs. Jefferson screaming the whole time refused to listen. The assistant manager retreated to call for guidance. I commented that no blt ever just comes with cheese. That's when she began yelling at me about if I work there. I told her no but i dont have to watch you berate these people either. Thats when she went and got her husband who attempted physical intimidation. My wife who was being harrassed by this woman finally got relieved to leave ( a half hour after her scheduled time to get off) we left for home only for her to be informed the next day upon arrival she was fired because I spoke up for the tx burger employees. If the claim is I spoke for her specifically I would ask who would sit quietly while someone yells and cussed your wife... more importantly I would ask that you not sit by and watch anyone behave that way towards another person. We have to behave respectfully. I also feel Texas burger should feel obligated to protect their employees from harrassment. Customers aren't always right! Through the entire encounter not person was loud or used foul language besides mrs. Jefferson. SIGNED...
