I may be a little biased simply on how much I like Whataburger, however, this one in particular is very clean and has a more homely feel with it's Western decor. The familiar photos that adorn the walls of times past that are present in most of the restaurants are replaced by large paintings on canvas depicting Western culture. The orange booths are replaced with brown and feaux tooled leather. Trimmed throughout the restaurant is "reclaimed" wood with "W"'s and TX shape burned into the wood.
Beyond that, the food is what we have come to expect from over fifty years of TX Quality and Tradition. Which brings me to my point, do we really think that the Whataburger in the fifties was like the coprorate stores we are used to seeing, or like the little treasures we find like what we find I little Crockett, TX?

Read moreOk cooks, let's pay attention to the screen.... I just came through the drive thru and I got $66.xx worth and my order witch is a #6... I asked for no creamy pepper sauce and no onions.... I got both... glad I'm not allergic to any of the ingredients.... but would appreciate it if ppl would pay attention so because my food is over 8$ by its self I had to eat something I don't like at all... so pay attention and baggers should check with the cooks to make sure everything is correct.... so I've let this slide a couple times but today I've had enough of ppl maken mistakes.... it's not hard... fast paced yes. Hard not at all..... so please do better guys/ladies.... I enjoy eating the breakfast for sure, one of my favorite spots to have breakfast, sometimes lunch as well... sorry for writing...
Read moreMan am I glad I was sent a review request. I walked in WB with my order already in my head. There was a couple at the counter, and another in line. It took over 5 minutes to get someone to assist the first couple. When it was time to pay, there was a change issue with the register. The cashier asked for change from a cashier that must have been ending her shift. She freaked at the other girl for almost opening a roll of coins just before she was to count out. She went to the back for change. After about 5 minutes, my wife and I, and 4 other customers walked out! Now I understand why it was the only place not full of Customers.
