Loved going to Tony’s when it was just the little spot further down main street so when we found out he’s moving and expanding to a coffee shop couldn’t wait.
Despite being their first week open, service was fantastic. Everyone was warm, welcoming and super sweet even while dealing with the learning curves that come with opening a new place and familiarizing with new systems.
I got one of their specials, a maple nutmeg latte, and not only was it a fair price but the latte was great. It was hot but not too hot where you couldn’t drink it like some other places. The flavor was fantastic, not too sweet, not too much nutmeg and the coffee was good.
For food I got the toast (multigrain) with the uzu marmalade. Delicious! Tony’s always had fantastic bread but the toast really helps it shine. The outside stayed crunchy but you had a soft inside that wasn’t dried out. The marmalade was so good I wish they sold it in jars because I’d buy it in a heart beat.
Atmosphere was fantastic in my opinion. It gives super warm, comforting coffee shop vibes. A place where you’d love to sit, drink your coffee and chat with friends or even the staff.
All in all we had a fantastic experience and I’m so happy for Tony and everyone involved for how great they’re doing and how great everything is. Can’t...
Read moreVisited Tony's Flour Shop for thr first time on 06Mar2025 after learning about them through TikTok. Tony was right there when I walked in, he and his staff were so friendly and energetic, even at 7:30am! All of the options between food and drinks looked delicious, I wish I could have gotten one of everything. Instead I opted for the Lucky Charms Latte (a March specialty drink), a vegan steak stuffed bread, a pepperoni stuffed bread, and a fig/cream cheese/sunflower seed croissant. The croissant was perfectly crisp, flaky, and buttery - the combination of flavors used was delicious and the tiny sprinkle of finishing salt on top tied it all together perfectly! The pepperoni stuffed bread was perfectly balanced - not too much cheese not too much pepperoni, and the bread was chewy on the inside and crisp on the outside. Perfect. The latte was also fun and delicious, and they were able to make if decaf!! Not all small shops offer decaf especially in their fun specialty drinks so that made me very happy. They also offer all the milk options from whole, skim, oat, almond, etc. I cannot review the vegan bread as that was a gift for someone else, but by the look of it and comparing to everything else I had, I have to imagine it was fantastic as well. 12/10 - will definitely...
Read moreMy wife and I recently got married, and the Monday before, my Jewish mother realized we didn’t have a challah to serve at dinner. I hadn’t planned to have one, but of course, less than a week out it was absolutely a necessity for my mother. I’m so glad we decided to, though! I decided to go with this bakery because they specify that they’re queer owned, which felt very apt for my upcoming gay nuptials. I called Tony’s on Tuesday (they’re closed on Mondays), but wasn’t able to talk to Tony until Wednesday, and I needed the challah on Thursday afternoon. When I called again on Wednesday, I was so relieved when Tony said of course he would do it. My mom also had specifications - it needed to be extra large and braided, not round. Not a problem for Tony! It traveled perfectly up to Vermont for the wedding on Saturday, and was so delicious. My Rabbi said it tasted like it came from the best Jewish bakeries in Brooklyn! We can’t thank Tony enough for saving the day and are so excited to continue to get our baked goods here!!!
