Went to karaoke and there was still time on the clock but the karaoke person was too worried about doing shots to let someone sing. It was a little bit before it was supposed to be over when I asked to sing. I was told it was done yet ten full minutes went by before it was announced that it was done. The waitress was very nice had no problem getting a drink. The manager was very sweet listening to me when I explain that I asked to sing before karaoke was supposed to be over and was denied the opportunity yet one of the regulars went one more time. I don't get out much and I was really looking forward to singing one song that I already had picked out and it would have taken 3 minutes at the most. But there was a big tray of shots at the table of regulars right next to the karaoke setup and everyone including the karaoke person was partaking in the shots. I really felt bad. I just wanted to sing a song. I said to the manager I assume you pay this man to come in and provide the service and I don't think you pay him to cut it short do you? Manager was very nice and the drinks good. Just disappointed that it was too much effort to find the song that I already had picked out and just let me spend three minutes singing it. This place was recommended to us for good burgers the food was good the service was absolutely terrible shortness of staff someone else’s food got added to our bill so it made our bill way more then what it was suppose to be the waitresses didn’t even realize they messed up was just going to let us walk out with paying way more. Then when we brought it to there attention they just basically brushed it off and gave us what they over charged us. Then there where dogs coming in and out that’s not an environment for dogs to be at people drinking loud music cigarette smoke. Went to BL for New Year. Paid $25 cover charge for the none VIP. There were 4 of us. We had a terrible time. 80% of the chairs were over on the VIP side... so there was no place to sit UNLESS we went outside on the patio. Who wants to sit outside in the winter time!?! Plus, there was absolutely no music unless you paid to play the jukebox. I don't know why BL didn't leave the jukebox on. They could have at least given us that much since we had to pay to get in, and had no place to sit, plus forced to sit outside unless we all stood cramped up in a corner.
