Beetle Bailey Burgers — Restaurant in Culver

My wife had lunch here while we were camping at the nearby state park. See I love the taste of a good old fashion hamburger where you can actually taste the beef. My wife and I split double bacon burger with tatter tots. I am here to tell you that this burger was one of the best I have eaten. The bacon was a thick cut not like other places where you can see through the bacon. The burger was juicy and the tatter tots were crispy on the outside which I love. From the waitress who took our order to the lady who delivered the burger to us were all very nice. The waitress came and asked us several times how was the burger and did we need anything. I will never enter this establishment again. The people that work there are rude, and left me standing at the counter for about 5 minutes before I decided to leave. No "hello", no "I'll be right with you" or anything. One woman was bent over a counter in the back doing nothing but maybe watching TV while the cook was actually cooking. They did know i was there, i was looked at several times by both women. The one time I did order, years ago, I received a store bought burrito that I couldn't cut through with a knife it was so over done, and they complained to me when I brought it back! A nice small town diner, I've only ever ordered burgers here but they've always been good. They also have great shakes, and some kind of mixed energy drink thing I keep meaning to try. The staff is always nice, and they have a drive through pick up window. Parking isn't that great but it's really no big deal, it's Culver, nothing is ever really all That busy. The walls are decorated with framed Beetle Bailey comics...I'm not entirely sure why they decided upon that theme for a burger place, but it's the food that counts.

The only downside would be the pricing seems a little high to me, so I don't stop by...
