Round Butte Inn — Restaurant in Culver

Had a horrible lunch experience.

We waited 1 hour 15 minutes for our food. After 30 minutes the waitress said it would “still be a little while.” Another 30 minutes later, we told her we’d been waiting an hour. She claimed (1) „there was an order before ours“ — weird, since everyone else arrived after us — and (2) our 12-piece chicken „takes 20 minutes because it’s made fresh“, which doesn’t remotely explain the 60 minute delay so far.

When the food finally arrived, we had barely 10 minutes to eat before a boat reservation. The food itself was great, but four of us couldn’t finish and had to pack it up in a rush.

If the 12 piece chicken really takes that long, it should be clearly noted on the menu. We obviously wouldn’t have ordered it. Waiting over an hour with no warning is...

Literally 5 stars. I cannot recommend this place enough. The customer service is superb from Chelsea, Natalie, and Sarah. Your drink is always full, your food order is always right. The prices are just right. But the real star is the food! Especially when Billy is working, it's out of this world. He really has a taste for good bar food. Everything is cooked to perfection. My personal favorite is the chicken quesadilla and my husband loves the bacon cheeseburger. The fried food after hours is also divine. Really hits the spot. Everyone is always so nice. I can't rate the food because I did not eat there. I went there primarily to do some karaoke. The DJ Jane was great, and she also sings well. I had more fun there, and the karaoke was better than any place that I have done it in Boise this century. The crowd was great and appreciative. I didn't want the night to end. I'm 73 and like to sing 20th century country. I also got to sing "Where Were You When the World Stopped Turning " in remembrance of 9/11/2001.
