KFC's quality varies so much from shift to shift-day to day & oftentimes, it's so frustrating to use their drive thru only to get home and find orders incomplete, items missing, and/or incorrect!! Worse pet-peeve about any restaurant is ordering and paying for a specific size, ESPECIALLY if it's an upgraded larger size, but still only receiving the same size Or smaller because the employees fail to correctly fill up the containers!!! It's IGNORANT, carelessness, disrespectful and inconsiderate, not to mention, the worst form of customer service!! Their AYCE food bar... That's surely a touch and go on quality & choice/selection... Definitely, look it over, first, before you pay!! KFC'S food can be considered the best in the fast food industry! However, 'customer service' severely takes away from the overall pleasure of eating here, at times... Unfortunately, there's no way to predict which shift has the best workers, so ya never know what you'll get until you order and pay!
**Update, a year later...not much has changed except now, they close earlier than posted and seemingly, after 9pm, ya basically get what they've got left even if it's not what you ordered and they don't tell you- you just find out after you're home and...
Read moreOrdered Drive thru (I miss them "It's a great day at KFC days) Ordered food. Asked for butter and honey specifically in the drive thru and the brownie was new to me so I ordered it as well with the family meal. Checked my receipt and was charged for individual brownie instead of with family meal, not a big deal couple bucks difference. I was trying to point it out to the manager to avoid further confusion and he was reeling about the promo stopped and he has to check to see if they are still doing it....umm you claim you're the manager but you don't know? Anyway, I mentioned it was still on the menu. He came out and handed me 2 bucks in quarters and said here's the difference. Like they didn't have bills? Got my food after a 15 minute wait. No butter, no honey, and to boot got home and no brownie. I went back and got my brownie with no problems, thankfully. That's the only reason I gave a two star. I used to work at KFC and the standard was much higher. Still rooting for yas to get it together. Food got a 3 because there was still uncooked breading on the crispy chicken... And that's just laziness. My wife is a texture person and couldn't handle the soggy breading....
Read moreThis KFC has a buffet, and that makes all the difference in the world. All you can eat and drink, under $7, with a wide variety of food, it's the best value for the money if you want to eat out casually. They have twice-baked mashed potatoes that includes ranch dressing in the recipe, as well as regular mashed potatoes. The staff is always friendly and I usually go there with a good friend who is disabled and elderly and has to ride a scooter. Every one of the staff that has greeted us has offered to help him put the food on his plate and they do so with a smile, going out of their way to help. I highly recommend going the extra mile off the highway if you're traveling on the interstate, as the other KFC in the area doesn't offer a buffet. The apple-pie cobbler is always piping hot, as is the chicken (on rare occasion it isn't), and they still have Sierra Mist in their soda machine. Good food and service...
