Anyone that follows me knows my husband is an OTR truck driver and I ride along with him. Unfortunately fast food is at times unavoidable. The prices are high and more often than not our food is either incorrect or cold. So we usually request our food fresh, made to order. We stopped at this McDonald’s and Loves for fuel and lunch. He ordered the food and requested it be fresh and made to order. The fry attendant had a large fry ready to be bagged and was going to put that in our order instead of honoring his request. When he said politely that he didn’t want the old fries but wanted fresh instead the fry attendant and another worker whispered to each other giving him side eye glances. Next thing he knew the fry cartons were empty and they were filling them up again. When we started eating our food as we pulled back on the interstate we noticed the fries were uneven in temperature and that they were not salted at all. Then the burgers also seemed to have absolutely no seasoning. They must have run out of all seasoning right? These restaurant chains need to instill better customer service and work ethics into their workers. The general disrespect and laziness passed on to customers all while charging an arm and a leg for a hot meal has to stop! Just because it’s fast food and not a five star restaurant doesn’t give an excuse for this type of service, we already pay the penalty for fast food by having to consume unhealthy food because they no longer offer...
Read moreStopped in here on two occasions. The first time while I was waiting to be served an off duty employee hoped up on the counter laid down and fixed herself some kind of frozen drink that was around the corner all the while yelling across the restaurant to a group of people in a booth. This Sunday while passing through I was waited on by a very unfriendly young lady. After I ordered she asked me, in a very unprofessional manner,”is that all you want?” Then I figured out her problem, I was taking away from her phone time. She and another young lady stood at the back of the counter with their backs to the customers texting on their phones. After an unusually long wait I finally got my food. I left and got back on the interstate. I reached for my frys and they were ice cold, then I opened one of my cheeseburgers took a bite and it was ice cold and tasted funny, upon further inspection I had been given two cheeseburgers with no meat. By this time I was not turning around as I had a long trip ahead of me. That store is a disgrace to the franchise, it is obviously very poorly managed, allowing employees to use phones while customers are waiting. The drink station was a disaster, they could have cleaned that up instead of playing on their phones. This is by far the most poorly run McDonalds I have ever been in. I would not recommend anyone...
Read moreCouldn't get the no cheese on a double quarter pounder right until the mg did it himself. They gave the wrong food in the wrong bags to 3 guests causing a cascading effect that backed up everything for over 20 minutes. Yes they were short but the mistakes were causing them to do double the work, serve cold fires and then I was told not to get an attitude. I asked if we could keep the mistake, he said no free food, after 20 minutes and 3x to get it right you should pay me to eat it! You got 5 stars for the entertainment factor, he was obviously frustrated, I'm sure the support they are giving is subpar at best, the demands are over the top and when your 2 short you need to close the lobby or drive through to slow the tickets down and cut off online orders. If you cant staff your unit then...
