Ada's Pizza-Takeout — Restaurant in Cypress

Sadly, this was once a great pizza place. Best within 20 miles, easily. Then, rumor has it, they came under new ownership. We've ordered from them maybe 3-5 times since then, and each order came 2-3 hours after it was ordered. On top of being late, the pizzas were frequently wrong. We gave them one last chance a few weeks ago. We planned it out: I was about an hour outside of town,so my wife ordered and I would pick it up on the way. It took me longer than expected, which I thought would help us. Sadly, when I got there, they hadnt even started cooking the pizza. I asked how long it would take, and the guy told me I could cancel if I wanted. I told him I'd rather get my order, as we were taking it to a party. The guy says it shouldnt take more than 20 minutes, but he couldnt be sure and to call in 20 minutes to check. I came home, changed, drove to the party and called directly from there (over 40 minutes from when I talked to the guy). The kid who answered said they still hadnt gotten to it, and it might take an hour longer. I hung up and left it at that. They called about an hour later, but we blocked the number. Never again. Stay far, FAR away and read the recent reviews. Sadly, this isnt the Dattz from pre-2020.

Edit on 12/9 - Take a look at the owner's recent replies to negative comments. It will speak volumes as to how they operate. Don't trust these people...

Great Pizza, but a very nasty little owner. Family business who is highly supported my Moore Elementary. My child went in with me to pick up a pizza, which we ordered weekly, and needed to use the restroom. Eight years old who I said, "honey, use the restroom at the restaurant ,"when we pick up the pizza." The owner refused to let my child use their restroom, even though she was about to wet her pants. I understand not letting everyone off the street use the restroom, but would think letting a child go, would be a human decency effort. I just hope that this "family restaurant" owner finds in their future that if a young child needs a restroom or if she finds herself in a situation where she personally needs a restroom that someone shows her more understanding than she shows to her faithful customers. No one is immune to needing a restroom from time to time and I hope that she learns from her indecency toward a young child. May she start her period and have to reply on human kindness not to tell her that she's not allowed to use a public restroom. Good pizza but will no longer get our business on the fact that she expects community support by giving none in return. 03/10/2021: Some of the best pizza you'll ever find in town by far they have great coupon specials online and only take cash or card in store you cannot pay online but you can order online they changed the pizzas every month for a special they're sending bites are to die for I love getting their buffalo sauce hands down have some very interesting and unique pizzas such as the Frito pie Pizza and the jalapeno popper Pizza I would definitely recommend I've never had such good pizza in my life and I've had a lot of different pizzas! Staff is friendly nice observant and hard-working.

Update 10/14/2021: So recent reviews that I've read recently stating issues with the new owner ship and transfer of the business are all correct they definitely did mess up a lot of things and it is very difficult to get proper pizza and most of the staff is just been completely changed I I would hope that this quality remains intact but they'd have to actually get your order correct first so the people or kids currently working are not fully up to par on training and I don't blame them once again I believe it is the new owners issues that are causing such dissatisfaction to a well-known business that was thriving and was one of the...
