CJ Deli — Restaurant in Cypress

CJ Deli is a local treasure. Friendly service and affordable, delicious food for breakfast or lunch! I've been coming here for a while, and I'm satisfied with everything I've ordered.

The menu offers an excellent variety of options for breakfast and lunch, including cold and hot sandwiches, salads, soups, and even teriyaki plates. A few of my recent lunch favorites are The Gary, Trilogy, the chicken salad sandwich, the meatball sandwich, and the beef teriyaki bowl. All the ingredients and bread are fresh, and the sandwiches are well-made. For an additional cost, you can create a combo order with a drink and chips.

Prices are fair and make this local spot worth supporting. Lunchtime is the busiest, but I have been able to place and receive my food quickly. The dining area features a few tables for dining in, but I usually order takeout. They also offer delivery and catering.

Parking is available in the small lot in front. If the front lot is full, there is also an entrance located behind the plaza, where you can find additional parking....

4.5. 1/2 star loss because they ran out of squaw bread, the reason I was there. Squaw bread is a popular choice. Decided on rye because I like to choose breads that aren't typical. Avocado, bacon and turkey on rye instead of squaw. Sounds like an odd combo but it worked. This was hands down one of the best sandwiches I've had. Bread was fluffy and soft. Avocado and turkey were plentiful. Bacon crispy. Ordered a large combo but should have ordered regular. Will go again. Hopefully, I can score some squaw bread.

Update - had #46 deli-k-sea on squaw. Soooo delicious. I had to go back for more. Tuna on squaw bread with avocado and pepper jack cheese. It was all I could think about afterwards. Chef salad was also good. What you don't see is the spinach leaves mixed in, thinly sliced eggs and avocados and...

Coworkers and I used to eat here very frequently/ almost every Friday/ however - last experience - we called ahead about ten people or so, he (the owner) forgot to make one order double charged us for it, tried to make us pay for two other orders that were already purchased by the first part of our group. Then my coworker calls him after reviewing the receipt to tell him he was mistaken, only to get a bad attitude and then hung up on, the owner needs to slow down and respect his regulars. Unfortunately we won't be back and won't be promoting this establishment...
