First of all, let me start off that I have been a loyal customer at the Cypress location for many years.
Yesterday I came in and wanted to purchase rib eye steak at the $4.99 sale price, 15 pounds for my niece's upcoming birthday. The store was out of stock, so I asked for a raincheck. First time I asked for a raincheck in years. A gentleman wrote it, gave it to the supervisor or manager to approve and I took the raincheck home.
Today, I returned to the store and gave the butcher the rain check so that they can price it appropriately. Here is where the drama began. The staff kept passing the rain check from one person to another and finally to the supervisor / manager in charge. This took about 10-15 minutes. The supervisor, instead of asking me for more details, basically accused me of falsifying the rain check. No clarifying questions, nothing. Just based on the fact that the rain check was written in blue ink and did not include a store #.
I DON'T FREAKING WORK THERE! I have no idea what is required or not required. I am a customer, was given a raincheck and now basically accused of forgery. Come on, if it was a forgery, would it even have the price of the meat as it was priced yesterday??? I told the person in charge that I received the rain check the day before, found the nice gentleman who wrote the rain check and he corroborated my story. At this point, the store manager or supervisor has wasted 30 minutes of my time and could only apologize for the error.
Is this how Stater Bros wants to treat loyal customers? Accusing them of forgery, where it's clear the employees themselves are not properly trained and don't follow protocol? Or don't seek to understand before making accusations? Saying sorry doesn't make it right. What kind of scam am I running, paying for $75 dollars worth of meat? Are you kidding me? I spend thousands of dollars a year at this store. An apology does not make it right, being treated in this undignified way is not right.
I want to understand what gives a supervisor this self-righteous attitude to make assumptions without seeking to understand the truth or find out details from customers. Really...
Read moreStaters Brothers prides themselves with fresh, wholesome food in a friendly way, however, my recent shopping experience was not only unsatisfactory but dangerous healthwise. A few days ago I decided to see and maybe try the various options at this store's deli department. It was my first time to try and everything seemed to look fresh. The fried chicken smelled good, so I decided to purchase a mixed set of pieces. I also purchased an desert. I live 8 minutes from the store and the chicken remained warm. Upon opening the bag if chicken it looked good and I ate a few pieces but it was dry and tough.. not fresh at all. It just seemed something was not right. I knew this was not a healthy meal and threw the remaining chicken in the trash. A few hours later, I began to have hard cramps, with nausea and just an awful feeling. The next morning it became worst with frequent trips to the restroom. In short i became sick of the few pieces of fried chicken I purchased at this Staters Brothers store. The customer trusts that the staff at the delis in your stores has the execptional experience your stores are well known for, but not only was this an disappointment but an health hazard. To management and corporate, maintaining healthy food in your stores must be paramount for everyone who purchase from them. Without it you could jepogize the wellness of your customers as well as a loyal shopper of your brand at various stores. It was really hard to write this review because I really enjoy shopping at your store. I was fortunate I didnt have to seek medical attention at our local hospital but if this issue is not addressed at your store, someome else may not be as fortunate, not to mention other consequences. You guys are tops!. Please...
Read moreOh my God...i love this particular store that is only 0.6 miles away from where I work, and a Blessing to me. Honestly. Every time I want to check out, I end up with the same cashier, for the past 3 months. All the time. Her name is Trinity. For a reason. Today I found out why. God works in mysterious ways 🙏. I went to stater as usual to buy my dinner. Of course I had Trinity as my cashier. Finished paying, went to my car, to find out that I left my car keys inside!!!!!. I went back to Trinity and explained to her my situation. Guess what...she used her personal phone to get AAA for help. If that is not great customer service, then nothing is. Vanessa on checkstand 4 asked me if I would like a chair to sit!!!!!. I mean I was overwhelmed by kindness from the whole crew in the front, all the cashiers next to Trinity who was on 6, not to forget the girls they were bagging as well. Unbelievable, seriously Unbelievably kindness. Trinity, my Blessing angel cashier, offered me drinking water. In all and all, instead of being stressed from my situation, Trinity's kindness and compassion put me at ease. I understand now why I always ended up with her!!! God knew she is going to assist me in this situation.
Thank you so very much Trinity, I am really grateful 🙏 and God bless. Now a day it's difficult to find carrying people like you. . Please don't change. See you again soon .
I would like to thank the store manager of that store as well. Your employees must be happy with your treatment to them. I congratulate you for this outstanding...
