Just left a company picnic at holiday world. People with me were hungry. Only place to eat besides Denny's was Wendy's. We went to the driv thru. Waited at least 25 mins in the line to order and we were the 3rd car. Got to the window, they told us they were out of medium and large drink lids. Already frustrated we said ok we will take small drinks. Still charged for the ones that come with the meals. No discount. Pulled around and waited another 15 mins just to get to the window to get our food. Finally get to the window to pay and waited another 7 mins to pay. Finally got our food. Hit the road back to home. Wife says wait a minute as she's preparing my spicy chicken sandwich so I can eat while driving. She felt the chicken and it was cold. She did more tearing into it and it was COMPLETELY RAW. The breading was falling off and the chicken was RAW. If she hadn't looked at the sandwich I would've taken and possibly swallowed raw chicken. We turned around and headed back to Wendy's. Everyone else's meals were fine as they ordered burgers. As soon as we pulled into the parking lot I got out of the car with the raw chicken and proceeded to the drive thru to let people know not to eat here and showed them what they served me. As I finished the drive thru I went to the people walking in and showed them and suggested they find another place down the road to eat. Went to the front door and they had locked the doors. Luckily a customer let me in. Walked to the counter told them I wanted my money back and showed them what I had gotten. RAW CHICKEN. She asked which chicken I ordered. I said it didn't matter. She then again asked and I told her the spicy chicken. Woman at the counter yelled don't serve the spicy chicken. I was like...don't serve any of the chicken. She kinda smirked and proceeded to give me the 7 dollars and change back for just my meal. I wanted all of it refunded because it the ordeal. I said I will never return and I will let others who I know visit holiday world to not return either. I finally left. And had to wait till I got home to eat as I was...
Read moreMy husband, two children, and myself stopped for dinner in Dale after a full day at Holiday World. Originally we stopped at Dennys and after 30 minutes of waiting after our order was taken we were informed they hadn't even started it. So we left and went directly next door to Wendy's. Being late and a full day we chose the drive thru. Three cars were ahead of us, no big deal right? WRONG. It took us 25 minutes just to get to the speaker box, once at the box another 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge our existence. I had to literally tell at the box "Hello! We have been in line 35 minutes already and still need our order taken!" Someone answered right away which was great, except their tone was so horrible you could hear the misery in their voice. Once our order was placed we waited another TWENTY THREE minutes until our food was ready!!!!! Our order you ask? ONE spicy chicken sandwich, ONE single cheeseburger, TWO kids chicken nugget meals. I ended up canceling the childrens meals because in our FIFTY EIGHT MINUTE WAIT my children fell asleep. Why did we wait so long and not just drive off? Because my kids were crying from how hungry they were because the first restaurant we stopped at in Dale failed, and unfortunately they couldn't stay awake any longer because Wendy's failed MISERABLY. I wouldn't recommend either of these establishments EVER to ANYONE. Literally the WORST SERVICE I...
Read moreTerrible from the second we walked in the door. Waited at thw register for over 5 mins before we were waited on while workers walked by. Shift manager got smart with an older employee when she said someone is at the counter. No napkins in the lobby, tables were sticky, and watched a man walk in to order. The shift manager started to take his order and in the middle of the guy ordering the manager answered the telephone and stepped back from the register to have a full on conversation. I worked in the restaurant business for years when i was younger and the telephone is the last thing to worry about when a paying customer is in front of you. Thats where your paycheck comes from. NOT THE PHONE. The mens restroom had a roll of toilet paper laying on the floor, not in the dispenser, with pee all over the floor and the roll. I mean come on Wendy's. Management definitely needs to crack down on this place, it could be so much better, and should be. I will hit the Wendys in Ferdinand before i ever walk back into this...
