Staitioned at Fort Rucker for training and found this place through Google maps. Decided to give it a try and was blown away by the amazing food!! And the wonderful hospitality!
The owner who was also our server was amazingly friendly and treated us like family. She was also attentive to everything we needed at our table. Top 5 best service I have ever recieved at a restaurant.
We have eaten here twice. Dinner my fiancée and I spilt the curry duck. And it was delicious and was plenty of food to feed both of us. I woukd highly recommend the dish to anyone that enjoys Thai style duck and curries.
At lunch we tried the Pho and the Red Curry. It was too much food for us to finish everything. But, we sure tried. Curry was delicious and we'll worth the price. The Pho was also good, but I wouldn't consider it a traditional Vietnamese Pho. More like a Thai soup as they use cilantro in place of basil and pad thai style noodles.
Overall, I highly recommend eating here. The food and service are wonderful. Just don't come here with expectations of being somewhere fancy, and enjoy it from r what it is. I...
Read moreI can't wait to come back here! The food is delicious and the staff there is very friendly. For my entree, I had vegtable pad thai, which was extremely flavorful despite me not increasing the spice that much. My husband and I shared a curry puff appetizer, which were fried wontons stuffed with a curried mashed potato. My husband had a curry plate. I didn't listen to which one he had, but I tasted it and that too was very tasty. You can order by level of spiciness and the 5 isn't overpowering. I generally start at a lower number, which was a 2, and increase it when we return. My husband had level 5 spiciness in his curry. I highly recommend this place and if you can handle some spice, don't be afraid to start off...
Read moreWent here tonight for the first time with my husband and a few friends. The owner is absolutely lovely, she manages the place and the husband is the chef. This is the original Thai Siam. She was the owner of Thai Siam, closed her place for a few months and the guy who currently owns Thai Siam opened up a Thai place called Thai Siam as she didn't have the trademark rights. Most people in the area seem to confuse the two. But she was the original owner. We were made feel like we were guests in her home. She kept checking in on us and the food was pretty amazing. The portions were definitely bigger than the portions you get at nearby Thai Restaurants. Will def be back here again. It's a hidden gem by the high school...
