Bea's catering Nigeria & Soul Food — Restaurant in Dallas

I wish I would've taken heed to the reviews that I saw before visiting this restaurant. There was one lady there that was preparing the food and she was really nice but the woman who worked the register and took my order was clearly trying to scam me. I placed two orders, one with a credit card and another with cash due to having chip issues with my card. When I paid in cash, I noticed that the lady gave me incorrect change (less than what the receipt read) so I brought it to her attention and she told me that the meal was actually more than what the receipt said and that I actual owe her more money which included all of the change that she initially gave me plus an additional sum. So I pointed out that the receipt showed a different amount than what she was quoting and she told me not to pay any mind to the receipt (which didn't make any sense). After some back and forth between us, the other lady intervened and said that I was fine and to not worry about what the other lady was talking about and she was very apologetic (which I appreciated). I found it to be unusual that as soon as I told the other lady that I was paying in cash, suddenly the price is more expensive than even what the receipt stated. How does that even work? I found this place on Google. I was looking for some good African food in my area. So I looked at the reviews and the pictures of this restaurant. Let me tell you, I am so grateful I came here. Hands down, food is fire 🔥 The collard greens, were so flavorful without being salty and they were bright green not over cooked and dark. Mango chicken was perfectly cooked with that sauce being baked on them so it was a little sticky 👌🏽 The plantains were cooked just how I like them and the jolof rice was also very flavorful without being mushy. Cornbread taste homemade and not boxed. I also had some of the puff puff and I loved that it had a hint of nutmeg or something like that. If you want some good home cooking food, they got it here. This owners are rude. Period. I had ordered through door dash and got an incomplete order. Called the restaurant and a man picked up telling there's nothing they can do and to come pick up the extra if I wanted it. The lady herself took over the call and while trying to explain to her what occurred, she asked me if I didn't hear what she said like I'm deaf. My question was, how do we move forward? So the story is she turned off her iPad and couldn't access my order so she had to rely on what the dasher told her. If the dasher told u 3 puff puffs, how can u not figure out its 3 packs since you had 4 puff puffs in a pack? The one pack i received is inedible. Even a child just learning to make food would never serve that type of snack. 1st time I would realize puff puff can be incredibly hard as stone and burnt.
