Ronnie's Catfish & More — Restaurant in Dallas

I have tried to support but this will be the ABSOLUTE LAST TIME I come here. BEWARE, this establishment is NOTORIOUS for taking your money and not giving you KETCHUP, TARTAR SAUCE & HOT SAUCE. First of all, they only take cash and after they take your money and give you your order and you check your order or ask about the condiments, then they tell you they ran out. You ask for a refund and they tell you they don’t give refunds. They do that ON PURPOSE by not telling you that they didn’t have it so they can already have your money. Y’all knew y’all didn’t have condiments when you took my damn money. If I could give “0 STARS”, I definitely would.

Who eats their fried catfish with no hot sauce, ketchup, or tartar sauce.??? First of all, you are in the hood so that tells you right there that the people over here definitely are going to want some type of sauce on their fried fish. If you want to service people who don’t want sauce on their fish, then you need to go out to FAR, FAR North Dallas. I asked for the manager, and the girl said it was her mother, as if that was going to dissuade me from talking to the manager and that her mother was out of town. So because that’s your mama, that means I don’t want any condiments for my fish or that means that YOU CAN offer POOR SERVICE to your customers. That doesn’t scare me or change the fact that I STILL WANT condiments with my fish.

If my child was being unprofessional with the customers, she would definitely get a mouthful from me. I’m not making excuses JUST BECAUSE she’s my child. She’s still supposed to handle business accordingly. After I walked out of the store, the lady behind me, walked out complaining that they didn’t give her any ketchup because they ran out. I know one thang, YALL AINT NEVA GOTTA WORRY BOUT ME NO MO. And the fish wasn’t good. It WAS NOT seasoned well at all. Hot fish does not equate...

I live in Waxahachie, Tx. I went to Ronnie’s in Dallas located on Redbird lane. I ordered 40 pieces of fish and got only the way home and only had 20 piece of cat not the other 20 which was filets. They have me extra bread and salad. I have been calling trying to speak with a for almost 2 weeks now. Nobody will apologize or even return my call. I took the whole cat to the car then went back in to get the rest of my order. Everything was packed up and I ask is this the filets and the rest of my order. Both of those ladies said yes. Again I get home that’s not the case. This is so unprofessional for Ronnie’s not to rectify this issue. . Like I said I live in Waxahachie and it was after 8 when I for home with my order. By the time we unpacked everything and noticed it when started calling no answer. I called and message the duncanville location on fb. They replied back saying they would let the manager know. Still nothing. 76/78 dollars and some change just given to them And they not trying to give me my money or fish! I will never ever support Ronnie’s again. ....I'm not sure who the lady is at the front. (Older, frumpy body built black lady, goldish brown hair)

I came twice within the same hour...she was rude both times. 1st time she stood in front of me on the phone (ear piece) complaining about paying someone's bills or someone wanting money, never acknowledged me or screamed hello as she did everyone else AFTER me.... A kid with locs helped, who was present when I initially gave her a name and she ignored me. Thanks kid.

2nd time-same day & hour. There was no one in there. I opened the door no one said anything. That woman looked at me from the counter to the door and said NOTHING. I go back to the kid that clearly has professionalism and as I'm telling him the name someone walks in and this lady screams with joy welcome....really ma'am ? It's bad enough I'm ignored and disrespected at the "other people's" but to walk into a business with a predominantly black group of people and still get the same disrespect???
