Our waiter and the staff were excellent!!! Our waiter was helpful in explaining the dishes and prices since they were posted in the front when you walk-in but not on your menu. I decided to go a la carte instead of the ordering the “sack” since I did not want a potato or sausage. I ordered the shrimp and raw oysters…bad mistake since the raw oysters were so murky. I could not believe they were serving me these oysters that had a slight smell. Everyone at the table told me to send them back after observing what I saw which I did because I did not want to get sick from this meal ( please see photo) As a group we ordered the calamari, boudin balls and fried okra all horrible. The boudin balls tasted liked prepackage with no flavoring. I am still tried to determine what breaded battered was on the calamari because I applaud for the creativity of using something others do not use but at least try to seasoned the batter or calamari (please see photo). The okra was just dipped in unflavored light battered and just fried. My friends had the Alaskan King crab that one of them had me to try at the house because she thought the crab was “not tasty or fresh”. I agreed and thought the crab was not as fresh tasting or seasoned as I would liked (please see photo). The corn and potatoes were ok. Oh yeah if you order alcohol beverages please keep in mind that this place only serves beer and wine so even though they list $5 margaritas for the happy hour it has wine instead of tequila!!!! Then we learned after paying almost $200 for one bag of crab that we could have ordered $35 King Crab special our way out that the pI would not recommend this place and would suggest to the owners please be careful with storing, cooking and...

Me and some family went here for a celebration because this place seemed like an affordable place to get lobster. My sister had been here several times before and said she liked them. She's come for the boiled bags.
When we pulled up, I saw that it was like in a court with an Asian grocery store and lots of other Asian food places so I sensed, that even though it's a cajun place, there would probably be an Asian twist on the food and there was. We had the fried okra, cajun fries, catfish, butterfly shrimp and chicken tenders. It all tasted like Asian versions of cajun food. We had the fried okra first and there was this weird, asian-style, sweet-ish seasoning on them. The breading was light and airy like the breading on tempura. The cajun fries had the same or similar seasoning and they were straight up gross to me. I kept trying to eat them but they were not good. We also had the hushpuppies and they were like a cross between a hushpuppy and those asian leek pancakes. They were sweet too and weird. I didn't like them. The chicken tenders seemed like they were breaded with straight up panko and were also sweet. I didn't like them. I can't testify to the butterfly shrimp and the catfish but based on my mom's reaction, they were not that good. My sister had the half shell oysters and didn't complain but she also said they oysters in general don't taste like anything.
While we were eating, I noticed that everyone had a boil bag. So I think that says something to their boil bags and people...
Read moreI mean the seasoning on the crab was great, don't get me wrong. Prolly one of the best flavors/seasonings I've had on a bag of crab and shrimp. The lychee sangria was just ok, I won't be wasting money on that again. It was cute, however at $9 it tasted too much like juice and it's garnished with canned lychee fruits. I was disappointed when I bit into mine. Now the service... ..PLEASE train your host's and servers on customer service. The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived. They insisted the we sat at a table right next to another couple. I explained to the gentleman seating us that we would prefer a booth with a little more privacy, since the restaurant had so many open tables. Needless to say we moved ourselves to the booth after he left. Our server tried to tell us that we needed to go back to the 2 top instead of the 4 top we moved to. I politely declined and said that it was my birthday and I wanted and requested a booth. He responded with OK I'll see what my manager says.. Ridiculous. Overall pricing to me was outrageous. I was treated for my birthday, so I didn't pay. Tab for 1 boil ( that had sausage even though we asked 2x for there to be NO sausage) and 2 sangria (2 people) was $140. I would have been just as happy with my meal at another bagged seafood place and prolly would have saved at least half of what was spent and had a real drink with a friendlier staff. I'm not breaking my neck to get back here...
