Update: second try for some reason our food was super spicy. I love spicy but was almost unbearableā€¦ Stopped by on the way back home and was pleasantly surprised when I found this restaurant by the service road on I20. Ordered tacos, Chille Relleno and the food was very good. Service could be more attentive but overall had a good experience and itā€™s a good option in the area.

Ordered the Caldo de res. Took forever and I was late back to work. The soup was so delicious. Plenty of beef and nice big veggies that werenā€™t overpowering. Service is nice too. I will be back.

Good old fashioned Mexican place with great tortillas. Tortillas are hand made, and you can see them being made. I haven't really tried the food, but it looks good. I've had all their salsas, and they're definitely spicy enough. You can place an order ahead of time if you need a large amount of tortillas...

The owner made my daughter feel welcome. She was exhausted after working overnight and driving me early in the morning to an outpatient procedure.The owner made the lemonade fresh, plantains, Papusas, and slaw. The food was excellent. Invited daughter to sit, eat rest a moment. šŸ˜Š. Good Tia'...
