Don Taco #1 — Restaurant in Dallas

This is not the restaurant you would go to if your Black. The young guy who answers the phone and you pay at the counter is very racist and rude. I called my order in and he even repeated it. When I arrived to pick it up. I asked could I buy 2 cups of ice in a Styrofoam cup and he said no. I then said I'm willing to pay the amount of the soda, I just want 2 cups of ice and he said still said no. I was like ok fine. After getting my order I drove to the corner Shell station to buy 2 cups of ice and a soda. I then looked at my order and it was incorrect. I then call the same young man and advised him of this. I ordered potatoes on my Chorizo tacos and there was none. I asked could you please remake my tacos. He then said they cannot do that. I then said well that is what I ordered and you didn't tell me that when i placed my order. I then said I can pay extra but you can't just give me what you want me to eat. He said again we cannot do that. I then advised I'd be on my way back for a full refund. When I got there he looked and muttered something in Spanish on his headset. A young lady came and asked how she could help. I simply advised my order was incorrect and I would like a full refund and she complied. They also have false advertisement on their billboard outside. It states breakfast tacos are $1.80 but they are actually more like $2.80. This is by far one of the worst Mexicans food restaurant I've been too. They are not hospitable and I see why they their rating is low. I'll never go...

Hello, so my family & I love don taco we literally like 3 mins away. I was craving lengua tacos because they have the best (in my opinion) we’ve never had a bad experience. Today was different as we were ordering the gentleman that took our order was really rude ,we usually ignore stuff like that because we get it ( everyone has a hard day) we pull up to the window and my hubby was like “ did I do something wrong “ the employee told us all about his bad day and how he lived far and how he was late dropping off his sister then he was the only employee working cashier) so I told my hubby to leave him alone, but my husband was like he needs to learn not to take his anger out on ppl when not having a bad day…. Anyways we get our food .. go home I eat it and was very excited then bit into the lengua taco to taste salt.. all of them tasted like salt! I’ve never experienced this even at a horrible taco spot! Soooo I don’t know the cashiers name but I will call tomorrow and complain to corporate and the crockrell hill one because I think he didn’t something to my food. Even after the cashier vented about his horrible day ( which is unprofessional) my hubby gave him a tip . And we are contacting the health department because never in my life have I ever tasted salty tacos !...

Actually 0 stars, I went online to place my order, which was confirmed. I go to pick up my order when they tell me “oh we were supposed to cancel your order, we’ve had fraud with online services.” Which I’m like that’s not my fault, I placed my order I am supposed to take these tacos to a swim party. They said they’d give me my order if I had my ID, which I didn’t have so they called their manager and I spoke with him on the phone for him to let me know I have to pick up with my ID. No where on the website does it say I need an ID to pick up my tacos, he responded with “yes we need to correct that.” I’m showing them numerous other forms of identification because I spent 60.00 on this order but he refused to allow me to get these tacos. Where my husband said, we just need to leave they haven’t even started the order yet, let’s just get a refund. It’s been three weeks and I’ve had NO REFUND. I’ve been calling and waiting on my money to return and NOTHING. If your website needs to be updated take it down. I work for retail and understand how things go, but this is complete BS, why didn’t I at least get a phone call that my order would be cancelled? Instead they wasted my time and my family’s time.
