I used to really like this restaurant we would go there frequently but the last couple times I've been there things have just gone very very wrong. Today we ordered takeout we ordered a steak quesadilla meal and a shrimp and steak fajita meal and also an extra quesadilla on the side. First we picked up our order got home and realized we were missing the second quesadilla so we called and they told us they didn't even ring it up and didn't even apologize or anything so I let that go now mind you I had to verify my order at least five times on the phone. Then we were getting ready to eat our food and my husband opened up his quesadilla and it wasn't a steak quesadilla at all it was chicken so when I called to complain about that they offered to replace it just the quesadilla we live 15 minutes plus away so I told them if my husband was coming to get his quesadilla replaced we wanted our whole order replaced so that it was fresh and we could all eat together oh and I forgot to tell you my shrimp was burnt as well. I was on the phone with the manager at this point and his exact words 'we won't do that, it would be a waste of food' as I tried to explain to him that my family wanted to eat our food freshly together he refused so I told him that they just lost a customer and I demanded a full refund and we took the food back and we went to Don tequila's and it was absolutely amazing. They also had an attitude with my husband when he demanded the full refund but did end up giving it to him meaningless to say we will never go back it...

Went there tonite with my husband and two sisters. Arrived at 8:24. The sign said they were open until 9:00. Was told by the hostess she couldn't seat/serve us because "they had already begun to clean the grill" ... which i didn't necessarily believe because there was at least one 4 person booth that still had their menus - meaning they hadn't ordered. I pointed that out to her and she didn't seem to care ... said she had to stop sitting people at some point. When I was a waitress, we sat people until the time posted on the door ... not 36 minutes prior to closing. We've eaten here several times in the past but tonite, very disappointed.

Advice to restaurant: Don't post your closing time as 9:00 if you're going to refuse customers who arrive...

Angelica was awesome! I needed a place to park the big rig for the night and the bonus was a VERY enjoyable meal and nice conversation with the owner. I'd definitely frequent this restaurant if I was local. The only constructive criticism I'd offer is that the food definitely isn't spicy. My personal preference would be added heat, but I'm sure Angelica would accommodate if asked. I had the El Molcajete and it was SO GOOD! Strips of steak, the tastiest shrimp (I'm serious, the shrimp were the best I've had in years), mushrooms, poblano peppers and grilled onions served with real homemade soft corn tortillas, rice, refried beans, sour cream and guacamole. I’ve been here many many times. It’s one of the only places to eat in our tiny little town, so thank god it’s delicious. It’s a family owned business, and the owners are so nice. They’re always happy to see another person walk through the door and greet you accordingly. We’ve never had trouble being seated, even when it’s busy. As a matter of fact, everyone comes here, so it’s busy more often than not, but you never feel passed over. The price is fair, the food is great, service is quick, and they make a good margarita. That’s kinda all you need when you’re hungry right?

Just visited recently. It's usually pretty good. Our waiter yesterday barely spoke English, so there was a lot of pointing at the menu. One person in our group had specific instructions. The waiter did come back after he took our order to double check he got it right. He was a newbie, but was very nice and tried his best. Everyone in our group liked what they got.
